BEAUTIFUL. Two-in-One.

Visit the beautiful basilica as well as the attached medical school. Enjoy the quiet streets around the basilica and the church bells which ring hourly.

This is a must visit, as stated in the title a timeless place to visit. The interior is one of superb magnificence. It took us over an hour to explore the interior of this church and I am not one for spending time in a church. In one word, I was awestruck. If you don't go to this church then... More

This magnificent old building is in the historic centre of Montpellier, and definitely worth a visit. We were fortunate enough to have seen an advertisement for a classical concert given by the Cologne Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra on 19 September. The acoustics were perfect for this beautiful performance, and the rich and ornate interior made it a perfect evening.

Not always open, but did manage to find it open late one afternoon. The original church was once the... More

Beautiful Basilica, plentiful information in many languages,to be found on entry. I attended the Messe des Cendriers and found it very moving.

The Basilique has a typical ornate 18th century gold Baroque interior. The original 10th century church has been destroyed with only the crypt remaining. It's quite small but the biggest problem is finding it open, which tends to be in the afternoons only, but check beforehand.
