The building is not much to look at and is very stark inside. As a conference venue it is very pleasant with plenty of space and excellent food at lunch. The air conditioning is excellent, especially in the afternoon when it can get uncomfortably hot and sticky otherwise. It's location at the end of a park is very nice and... More

This is the main conference centre in Montpellier. The main auditorium has excellent acoustics. There are lots of smaller rooms. Overall I thought it was a very good conference centre. It is easy to get to with the excellent tram service. The nearest hotel is the Crowne Plaza.

The congress centre is very ugly from the outside (and not too pretty at the inside either) - but it works well as a congress centre, and it is very centrally and conveniently located in the centre of Montpellier.

This structure designed by Claude Vasconi, noted architect. Completed in 1988 it occasionally houses Berloiz Opera House shows. From its roof you can see a wide swath of Montpellier.

An interesting modern structure placed on the ground at the top of the park. Many steps up and contrasting glass and concrete build.

This is a fine concert hall and would be an asset to any modern day city. The complaints stem from the fact that it is located in an historically rich city which already has a beautiful old Opera / concert hall. Both seem to serve Montepellier well in their own ways.

A very large monolithic structure parked at the end of a nice wide walkway from the Place de la Comedie. It is rather sterile and lacks character. If you are attending a conference there take a water bottle - there isn't a drinking fountain in the entire facility. Inside the rooms are well-designed for conferences. The auditorium/opera house is quite... More

Magnificent set of concert halls including the Berlioz opera theatre. Easy to get to from Place de La Comedie and low bar prices during intervals.

We were a large group at Le Corum (participants in a conference) so we could not choose our food - it was a set menu. The quality of the food was average at best, and the offered wines were truly undrinkable. The dishes were very standard without any particular charm of imagination. For a French restaurant this was highly disappointing.

Walk to the top of this convention center to snatch view of Montpellier skyline. This is a city in flux - great history but striving to become relevant in 2015. You will spot centuries old sectors from here and modern mid-rise buildings. Oh, and the view is free.
