About
Hello, I’m Bertrand Bosc. I’m a guide in the Pic-Saint-Loup area, near Montpellier. Together, we will explore the terroir, the wine, and the gastronomy of course, but also the less noticeable details, the little things that make this place so special to me. I also design, produce and host custom events in domains around Montpellier.

We did this tour on Tuesday, February 18. I found him through TripAdvisor and contacted him. Originally we were to do the lunchtime tour, but he emailed the day before and asked if we could do a late afternoon tour with dinner which was no problem for us. He picked us up at our hotel, the Crowne Plaza, on time at 15h (3pm) and off we went northward towards his home. We visited 2 vineyards. At one we bought some for the evening after we returned to our hotel. We were flying the next day so we could only buy one bottle each. After the 2 stops, he took us to his family's B&B where his mother made us a delicious, home cooked meal with appetizer plate, wild boar stew, and dessert and wine of course! I really enjoyed talking with her. Bertrand said that she usually wasn't as chatty with most and was surprised when I told him. He had left us while we ate to pick up others for the B&B. We returned to our hotel on time about 20h (8pm) I am so glad I visited Montpellier and was able to find Bertrand on TripAdvisor. I highly recommend his tours-the price is very reasonable, the personal small group (it was just us on this one), and the meal in a real French home make this one of the best tours ever!!

Bertrand’s tour was my favorite part of a 17 day trip to Europe! We went to Montpellier just to experience a small town wine tour, and this day went above and beyond our expectations. We attended 2 wineries, stopped to see a beautiful view of St Toups, and went to his mother’s house to enjoy the best meal of our lives. Bertrand was extremely knowledgeable on French wine and a very entertaining guide. If you’re considering this tour, book it!!! I will never forget our time spent in Montpellier thanks to Bertrand and his mother!

We had a fantastic wine tour with Bertrand. We were fortunate to visit a biodynamic winery La Roque and Mas Gourdou which are using a wine making technique we had never heard of before with the fermentation taking place in the barrel.
Bertrand told us about the history of the region which is very recent in French terms.
We really enjoyed the wines on offer and could appreciAte the differences between the two wineries.
Follow this up with a three course lunch at the family guest house - what a fantastic day. I am looking forward to the recipe for the chestnut and white chocolate cake we got to have on the day.
Bertrand’s ability to make the tour relevant to our previous experiences only made us appreciate even more.

I was really impressed with this tour. Bertrand picked us up from our accommodation and we were the only people on this tour. Being high summer I had booked an evening tour with dinner to enjoy the cool of the long summer evenings. Bernard was a delight - knowledgeable and funny. We tasted some lovely wines and learned a lot about the Pic St Loup region. We are wine aficionado's but were ignorant of this area. We had dinner at his mothers house in the hills and the food was excellent. This was such a great value trip - I highly recommend it if you are in Montpellier. You also get to see the countryside. We had such a great time.

This was our BEST day in France... all thanks to the wonderful Bertrand! He is a truly well-informed and passionate guide for the Pic St.Loup wines and we had a great time!!! We had an on-time pick-up from the tourist office, in a comfortable mini-van and enjoyed the way the tour was conducted.

Bertrand is really kind and friendly, and was happy to answer any questions. We first stopped at a small village (to just walk around) and it was charming. Next, we visited 2 vineyards. Must say the experience was great! Both the vineyards had enjoyable wine, and also had differing processes of making their wines. It was truly informative and enjoyable.

The cherry on the cake was the home-cooked meal at Bertrand's home, made by his mother and consumed under a lovely tree with a bottle of wine between us! I really enjoyed lunch, as did our fellow guests. I was delighted to have a VEGETARIAN French meal!!! Having informed Bertrand in advance that we were vegetarians, I still didn't expect 3 separate courses (including dessert), but his wonderful mother surprised us all. Everybody the table (non-vegetarians too) enjoyed the meal which used local roquefort cheese.

I would definitely recommend this experience! ...next time hope to stay over at their B&B too... salute!

This is the wine tour to go on! So glad I found this wine tour on TripAdvisor! The guide, Bertrand, is friendly and welcoming, and very knowledgeable and passionate about the Pic St Loup - Languedoc terroir. He speaks English as well as French, so we had a very informative tour, fun and interesting. We met the winemakers at the two wineries we visited (two really is enough!) and enjoyed tasting their delicious wines, after which we visited Bertrand's family's B&B and had a wonderful 3 course lunch prepared by his mother, seated in the dappled shade under the apricot tree. Beautiful B&B too, if you're looking for a place to stay.
Bring your camera, of course, and maybe some water for the trip. We were picked up at about 10:00 and dropped off at about 16:00. There were 7 people on our tour. The mini bus was new, comfortable and air conditioned and the pick-up and drop-off points were arranged beforehand to our convenience. This tour exceeded my expectations, even though the reviews were all good. Thanks Bertrand. Come visit my wine region so that I can show you around!

We can't recommend Bertrand's wine tour highly enough! Our group of 6 had an incredible day exploring the beautiful vineyards of Pic St Loup. Bertrand picked us up and dropped us back to the centre of Montpellier and was hugely knowledgeable on the local wine region which makes for a very entertaining drive through the countryside before visiting the gorgeous boutique vineyards. The whole trip was topped off by a wonderful French lunch with lots of fresh local produce and of course incredible wine plus a visit to a local medieval town. Highly recommend this wine tour to everyone visiting the area, will definitely go again if we're back in the region. Thank you Bertrand for a wonderful experience!

Unfortunately i have to leave a bad review for this experience. First bad review i have ever written!
Based on the great reviews on Tripadvisor , i have booked this experience as a part of my & husbands Wedding Anniversary South of France Road trip - as a highlight of the trip.
Before i booked this , i have noticed that the same Person-Bertrand offers multiple tours in same day and some of them even clash .For example ours was at 5pm and supposed to be few hours ,but then there was another one @ 3pm for few hours and also more in the same day. Initially i assumed they will be hosted by different people. Even though all the reviews i saw ,mentioned just Bertrand.
So i booked this and later on got a confirmation that this is available and it's booked.
That was two weeks before the trip.
So day before the actual tour ,i got a message from Bertrand saying that can we change it for the next day because of his "another job" ! I replied that unfortunately it wouldn't be possible because we are in Montpellier just for one night because we are on the road trip! He just said he can't because of the problem with another work. When i explained the situation to him again, he wouldn't respond anymore. I had a look on tripadvisor again(on Viator on also other websites) , and can see there are a lot of tours he offers on the same day ! I have asked this to him-does he just trying to maximise his chances of bookings and then just moving them all to one ?As it looked like that IS his another job .He didn't respond. I tried to call-no answer.I have cancelled just to make sure i get a refund.

I do understand that things happen and i would normally accept this as just part of life situation. But seeing that this same person hosts multiple tours in the same time is just ridiculous! Also trying to change it on the day before when we had no chance to rebook it with someone else! And no proper communication or even apology of the cancellation.
Maybe i'm the only one who experienced this, i don't know.
So yeah ,thanks Bertrand for ruining most important part of our trip!

Hello Santa We are sorry but we had to cancel all our trips for that day because someone in my family was in contact with a friend who has COVID We were not sure what to do and how to manage the situation I am sure you can understand that and sorry for your husband anniversary wedding We unfortunately loose lot of business in 2020 and it feels it will not stop soon. It was last minute panic in the family and that is why I did not take time to apologize. Sorry again

11 of us visited the region for and spend the day with Bertrand in Pic Saint Loup. He collected us and took us to the Mas Gourdou vineyard, showing us everything from vine to bottle.

We played boules and then visited Bertrand's home to enjoy a delicious meal with wine.

We all then enjoyed time at the outdoor pool before taking transport back home.

A brilliant day, beautiful food, excellent wine, great company in a relaxed atmosphere.

Fully recommend Bertrand and his tours.

My wife and I had a very nice time on the tour with Bertrand visiting the Pic Saint Loup area -- Bertrand was very knowledgeable but also quite funny, describing the area and the wines in an entertaining way. We visited two wineries, got a sense for the lay of the land and learned a bit about wine-making to boot. Our tour ran from 10-3, with a late lunch at the family farmhouse cooked by Bertrand's mother (very tasty). Overall there was a good balance between driving time, wine tasting, the meal, and exploring the insides of the various wineries; I didn't feel as though we had to wait around or a lot or had to rush at any point. A fine outing, I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to friends and family.
