castle I’m disabled wheelchair user and my wife (carer) and two children went there in 21 of October without entry charges. The castle itself amazing but shame ( limited access and No) Has got a lot of history and amazing view.

If you go to Carcassonne, try to get out into the Corbieres mountains and visit Quéribus castle. Not for the faint hearted (due to heights) but a well kept ruin-castle perched high in the mountains. Keep a-hold of young children. Fantastic views. Great experience.
