Well sign posted for both the long and short walk. Booklet from the car park was good to track progress. Good paths of stone but steep in places. Definitely take water with you although there are places to fill up on route. Loved the art,...More

A not too strenuous walk in the hills surrounding the village of Mayronnes. The sculpture trail is fascinating with a variety of sculptures depicting animals, insects and people both real and imagined. Great views of the Corbiére from the top. Beautifully tranquil. Large car park...More

I read the reviews before we set off this morning - it is not an easy stroll! This is hard work and we loved every second...well almost! Yes it could be better sign posted and pathways cut back a bit - but then it might...More

A car park in the middle of beautiful but tight country roads, the 5km walk was not well signposted and very stoney and rugged and only saw three sculptures turned around after going a couple of miles not sure how much further to the top....More

Quite a long way from anywhere but a beautiful drive through changing scenery. The sculpture park is a rugged track though stunning vegetation, views and not forgetting the intriguing artworks. At halfway there is a shortcut to the car park in case you get tired.

A most fun day! First, the hike up and down the mountain is good--nice vistas, good trails, well-marked. Second, the sculptures range from comical to serious...but all are interesting and nicely spaced along the walk. Third, the little village of Mayronnes is itself a quiet...More

Great way to gets kids on a hill walk. Ours were nearly 6 and just 8. Would be a tough 7km walk on a very hot day, but it was cloudy so a great success. There's a tap at the start/end so TAKE WATER!

This would be a fabulous walk without the sculptures and they amaze and amuse. Take water and hats. There is a paddling opportunity about 2/3 of the way round. Never busy, usually just us and the sound of birds and breeze.

The sentier sculpturel is well worth a trek - the permanent exhibition, founded by a local artist called Bozo, is patchy (sometimes literally - vandalism has been an issue unfortunately). Every year, on the longer of the two circuits, there is a temporary exhibition, which...More

There is a free car park where you start the walk. Across the road is a map of the various routes you can take. We went back twice to do different walks. Paths are well marked and clear. Some fairly hard uphill climbs. Some in...More

It will be too difficult and strenuous for the children, in my opinion. Did it today, and in parts it's a difficult and tricky path, which climbs up to the top of the hills.
