Worth the money

It's not sophisticated but at some points in the experience as you move through the rooms there are some old fashioned shocks to make you scream. For 7 euro pp you can't complain.

Not worth it at all for anyone over the age of 10. If you have young kids, they might enjoy it somewhat, but still - it's not really up to scratch compared to what you'd expect from a haunted house in a major tourist destination. The 2/5 applies to young kids, anyone else should consider this a 1/5.

Our three children ventured in on the adult trek through the house. All teenagers, one boy, two girls. They said it was more scary thinking of what may happen rather than what did. Lots of smiling faces as they came out. We did notice some younger families on the children's trip where one or two of the young ones clearly... More

Had a frightening time with my wife and kids (12 &10) in this unusual experience in the medieval cite de carcassone. Great laugh and well worth a visit .kids loved it , won't keep them up at night .

Very fun activity to do with the kids! The Maison hantée (haunted house) and the Musée de l'inquisition (Torture Museum) are both very interesting to visit.

Our daughter wanted to visit La Maison Hantee, so we agreed. There was only the three of us, whilst my husband and I took it as a bit of fun, my daughter was absolutely terrified. At 21 we thought she would have got over it but it made it even more entertaining with each scream.....

This is very definitely worth a visit if you are in Carcassonne, but not for the faint hearted. Each section is different from the previous and there are surprises at all stages. I will not tell you what goes on as that will spoil it but it is worth the entrance fee

So much fun but totally terrifying. We (6 adults) thought it would be a bit of light hearted fun but within seconds we were pushing each other through doors and screaming as we went from one terror to the next. Totally worth a visit, think twice before you take in young children.

My wife, teenage daughter and myself visited this haunted house with a group of other tourists and had a great time. I will not spoil your enjoyment, but if you like to be made to jump it is a great half hour and well done. I would recommend this to anyone who likes to be scared and enjoys a laugh

We took our children (10 and 12) through this attraction. After questioning how scary it is and being told there is a kids tour, but usually for kids under 8, we decided to do the adult tour. The kids laugh about it now, but at the time it was really scary. The person jumping out at you is the scariest... More
