Artistic highlight of the garden

Should spend 5 - 10 mins to see this sculpture. Its story is interesting and the structure itself is pretty.

This beautiful little temple is located right on the lake. We were advised to take a boat and row ourselves there and boy are we glad we did! For 12 Euros you can rent a boat for an hour and see the entire lake. Not necessarily a must see attraction to Paris for everyone, but it's perfect for couples. Win... More

One of the beautiful buildings within the Domain of Marie Antoinette. As another reviewer stated though it seems to be a popular place for people to come and stand for long periods of time completely in the way of the rest of us taking photos. Please be courteous and enter, take your photos, then move on and admire from a... More

Having one of these in your property's park....that's right, your own park! If you don't like a lavish lifestyle, this is not a place to visit. The Chateau, the garden and the park are just unimaginable to build, keep and maintain by a family. I'll just enjoy the view.

No wonder Marie loved this area of the property! I would have chosen this area as my living quarters as well! The stream, the flowers, the animals & birds made this a little piece of paradise.

This is just my opinion and compared to so many other parts of the garden I thought this was just average. I did appreciate the shelter from the sprinkles and I enjoyed the walk there but compared to the rest of the architecture it wasn`t as overwhelmingly over the top.

More a garden feature than the thrill of a truly ancient temple, but it is a good landmark to help you navigate towards the Queen's Hamlet! Two young ladies found it so enjoyable that they planted themselves smack in the center of the ideal photo shot and stayed there for quite some time despite the other visitors angling for photos... My wife really wanted to see petit Trianon. It wasn't in my must see list but I'm glad we went. The gardens are like what you would see in a really nice house. This is an exception. This temple is pretty over the top. The guide told us there is a fertility legend that goes with it so be forewarned.

A nice stop to sit down on your way around the Trianons and the Hamlet, but don't go out of your way.

Get a map of the gardens so you can find this, you can get the little train from the Chateau which runs every 15m for 7.5 Euros
