Spent approximately 30 mins here and that was enough time to take in the detail of the carriages, sleds, etc. I'm glad we didn't actually miss seeing this.

These gardens and there are multiple gardens, take a staff of 300 to cultivate and care for are phenomenal. We walked through them and witnessed the fountains and the rich colors that rocked our world.

Large stables and a smaller stables. There were a lot of hores in the 17th century for the only transportation. So, stables

Nothing grand aside from the size. 2 stories, 2 buildings, and could hold thousands of horses--not your standard stable...

Located outside the main palace building in the backyards, nothing great to grand about it. Lots of walking in open space is required, and can be tiring in a summer afternoon.

These are very large and add to the grandeur of the Palace. There are some things in the Ecuries such as the equestrian school and carriage galleries but these have to be open if you want to see inside.

This is the location that you will find the royal carriages collection that are real example of royal grandeur. It is away from the main attraction and I do hope that your tour includes this bit.

Don't just stay by the chateau and the gardens there, walk further into the estate and you will find more beautiful gardens and other buildings to walk round.

We found it was much pleasanter the further you got as less people ventured that far.

If your not up for walking then get the land train, but please try and get out and about so you don't miss this.

As I've stated over and over, if your not enjoying everything the grounds has to offer, you will regret it later. These are included in your admission and tours are available

We visited in June 2012 & September 2013. Each time we had beautiful weather. Spent a day exploring the chateau and gardens, but really didn't touch the grandeur of the property. Enjoyed gardens near the chateau and ones near the trianons. Did our day on foot. Would've really liked to see the orange grove area. The map shows so many areas to checkout, but you'd probably need days to see it all properly.
