If you are in the Paris area, this is one of the sites you should definitely visit. However, plan your trip wisely. After purchasing our tickets we stood in line about 2 hours before entering. Once inside you can tour at your own pace.

took the tour with a guide and it was very informative. The Gardens cover a huge area. You can take great photos .

We spent two days here and still did not see it all! I think it would be good to stay out in this area, as it can tak close to an hr on the RER to get out. Plan to do a whole lot of walking!

Huge and impressive are the right worlds to describe there... You must be prepared to stay there for more than 5 hours if you want to see at least 80%t (really doubt you can make 100% in one single day). Amazing place, amazing atmosphere and amazing structure and during the summer there is shows at night.... Pretty easy to get... More

Amazing both historically and in all its glory! An all day event. The gardens are part of the attraction so best to do when NOT too hot outside, plants/flowers still in bloom and NOT too cold outside.

We took the little train all the way back to the Marie Antoniette's gardens and walked our way up towards the chateau. Best idea ever! Most people start in the front, and it is always crowded. September is such a beautiful time, is fresh and green. The gardens are incredible. Do not miss the music fountains and the two Trianons.... More

Took the metro from town here. Very easy to get to. We had a nice time walking around the grounds. The garden was beautiful. Only disappointing part is they are currently working on the outside so there was scaffolding so you cannot get a picture of the entire building.

Prior to your visit, buy your passport ticket online to avoid the long line for ticket when you get there. There are so much to see and learn. So, make sure get there earlier, because this is a whole day event. Also, get your camera and cell all fully charged. The endless beauty of the palace and the story and... More

The car park is situated directly outside the courtyard of the palace. Don't forget to validate your ticket and pay for the parking before attempting to leave the car park. You may purchase acticket for either the gardens, the Palace or both. If you decide on both, visit the palace first. It is absolutely amazing. If you get hungry or... More

We were grateful Viator.com could accommodate us at very short notice for a Sunday trip to Versailles and Giverny with Paris City Vision. This is a great combination as both locations are very interesting to see in their own way and combining them makes for a great day out. It was a small group, just six of us, and we... More
