Spend hours in amazement of this wonderful garden. Beautiful manicured gardens, sit and chill, wander aimlessly around. Quite busy but still a nice place to go

The gardens are chaotic. They begin from the palace and they extend so much that you start to wander where is the start and where is the end. There are many flowers, fountains and sculptures. Be prepared to walk a lot.

Visited on a foggy, rainy day in December and it was still awesome. The grounds are immense. There are ponds, fountains and statures everywhere. Orderly forest paths branch off from the center walking path and can provide a mini-adventure of their own. There are restrooms...More

I am an American who lived in Versailles and possessed an open pass to visit the Palace of Versailles and the Versailles gardens anytime. Because of this, I spent at least 3 days a week if not more in the gardens. If you want to...More

The gardens of Versailles were absolutely beautiful and well kept. Their piped in music was wonderful and put you in the past ages. I'm not a "gardens" kinda guy but this was quite an experience.

Versailles Gardens is the one of my fav places in Paris. Although there are lots of great gardens in Paris, Versailles is different with its history and weight. Would recommend to take bicycles to look around, otherwise it may take whole day to walk around....More

The gardens were kind of bleak when we were there in late october. Unannounced, it was MUSICAL FOUNTAIN day so my Paris museum pass didn't cover the gardens. Unfortunately for 8.50 each more only saw one musical fountain.... that was a bummer, and no flowers...More

We had time for a walk through and even though it has been very dry this year, the gardens are in remarkable shape. Highly recommend.

We went in June and it was not crowded at that time. You can enter the gardens at no charge. We went just to go to the gardens one evening...... we through an entrance called the Queens Gate.

Yes! They are golf carts 34 euro for 1 hour and 8 euro for every 15 minutes after. Great save for the legs.
