This review is for their location on Rue Rambuteau, but it's a chain so I assume the quality is consistent across all their shops. We randomly meandered into the shop looking for a turtle shaped chocolate and they actually had one! While we were checking...More

The worker was pleasant and spoke English to us and let us sample some chocolate and it tasted great. They have a wide selection here and it is the oldest chocolatier in Paris so it is definitely worth the visit and taste.

This is a small branch of the oldest chocolate/candy shop in Paris. I haven't been to any of the other locations but this one still had plenty of treats to select from, including yummy chocolate samples. We picked up some assorted candied nuts, assorted pâtes...More

Paris's oldest sweet shop is A la Mère de Famille. It's original location (and tourist "must visit") is on the Right Bank in the trashy Montmartre area, but you'll find other locations, including in the department store Printemps. Since I prefer the Left Bank overall,...More
