Absolutely wonderful experience. We took the 3 hour private tour. The guide was knowledgeable and adaptive. She catered to what we wanted to see and was always ready to answer questions. Highly recommend.

Segway is a fun way to see Paris. We visited the Eiffel Tower and surrounding areas. The Tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable.

We did the Diamond Private Segway 3 hour tour with our family of 3 teenage daughters. What a way to see Paris, thank you Anna and also for Ziggy for arranging. I would totally recommend this tour.

We had a fantastic day! Our group consisted of two adults and one twelve-year-old. Not only did we comfortably glide past many attractions but were treated to a well-informed commentary of what we saw. Though it was a misty day, it did not impact our...More

So you're thinking about a trip to Sicily and you've stopped into the TA Sicily forum so see what you can learn. I just got back from two weeks in eastern Sicily (my first trip there). Allow me to offer some simple, concise advice. GO! GO, GO, GO, GO, GO!!!! My god, it was fascinating. And so utterly beautiful. I relished every single minute of it. I've started sorting through my photos and will be posting a detailed trip report soon. But seriously, all you really need to know is...More

Just Returned From Athens... (13 Replies)
Ok, a few things: WE LOVED GREECE!!! We went to Athens for 2 days, Mykonos for 3 and Santorini for 3 and then back to Athens for our last night, but I am just going to refer to our time in Athens here. Stayed at the Electra Palace. Pricey, but VERY centralized in a GREAT area, beautiful view of the Acropolis, and the best buffet breakfast I have ever had included every morning in the price. The staff is extremely helpful and an all around perfect place to stay if you have never been to...More

I am very happy you enjoyed your Athens time. I am also extremely annoyed by the typical repetition of the same scam. My pressure went up to the sky really. The "change scam" is always repeated and repeated and repeated, here, in the islands, in other countries too, like Turkey ( where it's rampant ) or even Italy. My only suggestion regarding Athens could be to pay from the co-driver's seat and use 5's, instead of giving a bigger banknote. And yes: i am praying for this guy's...More

2 weeks in France with kids (7-12) in April (6 Replies)
My wife and I have pushed back on Disney trips over and over again because it's just not the type of trip that we wish to spend our limited vacation budget on. This April we're going to hit France for two weeks - my wife really wants to spend some time in Paris and I'd like to hit the south of France. So I figure we should spend at least 5 days in Paris and then head south for the remainder of the time. Can anybody tell me what towns/attractions are must-see with children in Provence and/or...More

If I had but two weeks to explore Paris and then France, Carcassonne would not be high on my list. It doesn´t fit in with your overall objectives and even if it did, I do not consider it that compelling a visit. Two weeks may sound like a lot of time but it´s not enough to take you everywhere you have mentioned. I would spend 5 to 6 days in Paris (you could include a day at Disney for your kids if they have never been) and one other destination: Dordogne or western Provence. You could...More
