Initially, we ordered tickets to a concert at Sainte Chapelle during the Christmas holiday. The website was easy to use and retrieving the tickets was a breeze. A few days later we received promotional information about all the different entertainment possibilities for tickets in Paris. So we ordered tickets for "An American in Paris" on Christmas Day. We love this website for all it offers and how easy it is to find out what to do in Paris during your stay, and to get tickets ahead of time. Planning a trip is half the fun! And then, to experience wonderful entertainment, with such ease adds to the delight.

We saw “Swan Lake” at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. The ballet was lovely and the theater itself was beautiful. My only qualm is that we sat in Loge A, which on the map is 3 rows of 2 seats each, but in reality was 2 seats followed by 3 followed by 1. So I couldn’t sit next to the person I came with — not what I expect from a €195 pair of tickets. But I sat directly in front of him, still physically closer to him than anyone else in the box, and it was still enjoyable. Our neighbors all spoke French, dressed well and behaved as one would hope. The music was a joy, the dancers beautiful and very skilled — although not perfect; this was not a night for a standing ovation. It was a memorable, joyful evening at the ballet.

My husband and I have bought tickets with Theatre in Paris during two of our trips to the city. We highly recommend their events as a way to experience Paris of the Parisians. English speakers can attend French speaking productions thanks to Theatre in Paris' ingenious use of "subtitles." It sounds strange but it works great. Give Theatre in Paris a try next time you are there!

Dear Jugray2019, Thank you for coming to the theatre with us and for your great review. We're very happy to hear you and your husband enjoyed the experience of a French performance. We have a new, wider choice of plays this season and we hope to welcome you agin Paris! Kind regards,

Not what we expected at all, it wasn't very cabaret or burlesque. It was quite slapstick in humour and singular performers on rotation on stage. The host spoke almost entirely in French so any English in the crowd were unable to understand any of the links or jokes. Probably a great show if you are a local but otherwise, would not recommend.

Dear Lauren, Thanks for your message and your feedback. You probably went to see the Cabaret Burlesque, an intimate cabaret show on a river boat in front of Notre-Dame's cathedral. While we understand your frustration with the language barrier, we want to underline that this show has hosted hundreds of foreign guests in the past and that a vast majority enjoyed it tremendously. Of course, one cannot understand all the jokes and local references, but it is a pretty amazing and unique experience to see such underground humouristic show on a boat in Paris. Kind regards, Your team, Theatre in Paris

The concert venue, Sainte Chapelle is spectacular mainly because if it’s magnificent stained glass windows. Those windows were not lighted as it was shown on the photo advertising the concert so that was a big disappointment! The music was OK, but no better or different to what you get at other church venues in Europe. When it came time for an encore they repeated part of the same composition, ( The Four Seasons), that they had played!😳

Dear Latita, Thank you very much for your review. We are really sorry your experience at Sainte Chapelle Concert Series didn't reach your expectations. We will immediately contact the concerts production to check if there was a lighting issue on the day of your show. Can you send an email to our customer service in order for us to contact you as soon as we receive an answer from the production? However, please note that stained glass windows are usually illuminated by natural daylight, as it is shown on the pictures you refer to. In December, evening concerts take place after the sunset, which may explain why the windows were not lighted as they are during most of the year, when the sunset happens after 6pm (from February to October). Anyway, we will ask the production and be in contact with you as soon as we can. Kind regards,

We knew some of Edith Piaf’s story. This play gave us a better understanding of her life and music. Wonderfully done by three charming individuals. We laughed, cried and sang together. Highly recommend.

Managed to get tickets to the second last day of Funny Girl run at Theatre Marigny. The 49 Euro ticket was at the top corbeil so the view was not great, but the show production made up for it. The strikes were on when we went that day and we got delayed being stuck in traffic because of the demonstrations and so did many people, so they show was slightly delayed. It is a small, intimate theatre, but will all the necessary ammenities.

The venue itself and the performance can be rated as perfect - nothing to complain. The only low point is that you cannot chose the seats yourself, they're allotted by the system. I paid the most expensive category of tickets and I got the seats I would never chose myself - side of the first row. Not the best place to watch. Hence 4 stars instead of 5.

As an American couple, it was great to experience an authentic French musical. The artists were extremely talented. The theater was outfitted with a projector that displayed English captions above the stage for the spoken words, which really helped us non-French speakers. Great show overall.

I went to see a burlesque show, Crazy Horse, and initially had some questions about ordering the tickets. The online chat person was very helpful. Overall the show was great. They initially forgot my prepaid drink but were very apologetic and gave me a snack as compensation once I let them know. So that was all good :)
