I went to the Saint-Germain store two days ago with a friend to buy a bottle of red wine and, even though we were Italian with some language problems, we had a great time. The girl was very kind and knowledgeable and recommended an excellent wine (a Bellonnière). Compliments.

Loic , the owner, greeted us and shared is extensive knowledge of wine with us.
We were fortunate enough, to come in the late morning and were given a few choices of wine tasting.
We enjoy the explanations. Loic turned up to be, not only a wine expert , but also a friendly conversation partner. We ended up buying a few bottles in very good prices and quality.
Go there for good wine and a nice company to taste it with.

Le Vin came recommended from a concierge at a local boutique hotel where we stayed during the month of March in the Latin Quarter. We arranged for a 5 wine tasting with cheese to start at 6:30. Although we were running late with traffic, Louic (the owner) and his team were very accommodating. The setting was different than what we had expected at first. We sat in the middle of a small wine shop which at first seemed disappointing but eventually evolved into a very quaint and intimate setting. Overall, the experience was informative, engaging, and fun. I recommend it!

Walked into Le Vin while strolling through Paris and we wanted to get a good bottle of red as a gift before flying back home. So many wine shops are overwhelming with no assistance - not here, you walk in and is greeted with a smile from Gustave - he offered excellent knowledge about wines and a great help in choosing a wine. Such friendly and informative service. They have a wonderful selection of wines without being overwhelming. Thank you Gustave, your shop is a little gem in Paris!

This wine shop was recommended to us by the manager at Le Reminet and he was certainly right in doing so. The selection of wines is excellent and in all price ranges. My husband and I love Jacquesson champagnes which are not always easy to find. Le Vin qui Parle had four different selections (we decided on the Rose Brut--fabulous). The manager of the store was very helpful and had a lot of knowledge of his product. We will return.

I found Alexis to be exceedingly helpful (and very patient) when talking about the types and quality of wine he had in stock. I shipped back 3 bottles for friends, who I'm sure are going to love them because Alexis knew enough about the products to tell me really specific details them, so I could choose who each bottle was best suited for.

An American, a Mexican, and a French-Canadian walk into a wine shop.... escorted by a French local. Of course, we started the evening as philistines, but with Luick's help and guidance, we were slowly transformed into connoisseurs.

Just kidding.

But when our French friend offered to arrange a degustation (with cheese, too!), we were thrilled to give it a try. Luick was really incredible - he gave us an overview of the French wine making industry, telling us where each wine that we would be tasting would be produced... He delivered the entire lesson in English, but as he stood by the door where we did the tasting, he took the time to greet every customer who entered the store - not a complaint, but just an indication of the level of customer service at this shop. Most of them were regulars and locals, which really impressed our group. He showed us a fantastic assortment with great info on each particular wine, the maker, the process, and he was incredibly patient with all of our questions.

After our tasting, we were all very excited to purchase some wine, and Luick carefully and thoughtfully recommended the proper bottle for each occasion... "Wedding gift for my aunt? Housewarming gift for some older relatives? What pairs with delivery sushi?"

His patience, expertise, and general openness made this experience incredible. 10/10 stars, would recommend to anyone going to Paris.

Thanks for culturing some tourists!
