I won't go back to the point of visiting this church... but today I went there for its nativity scene. Nativity scene with more than 1000 figurines, scenes from daily life in a Provençal village, which will welcome the Child Jesus on Christmas Eve. This on approximately 25 m2. Each figurine has been offered by a parishioner for several years. 150 hours of work are necessary to assemble the crèche!!! Impressive !!!

In 2022, I attended a Mass in this church, when I looked to the right side where I was sitting I saw an image of Our Lady of Lourdes, as soon as the Mass was finished, I approached the image, touched, prayed and asked for a grace of healing. I got the grace! In 2023, the following year, I went back to Paris in that same church to thank you! I was delighted with the Mass, the strength that this church has! Salve Maria!

Easy to spot but easy to just pass by. Don’t. Take your time to see the very beautiful interiors of this openly situated church.

Came here with my parents for a mass and had an experience so much better than expected! Beautiful peaceful mass, even we understand very little French, very beautiful building to observe with so much details to see and after mass there was an unexpected organ performance and I talked to the church staff and the staff actually called the organ player for me! He then brought me upstairs and actually played a song for me, i am very overwhelmed by how friendly people here are, even as an English speaker with a little French! If only I can post the video of Monsieur Leroy playing the organ... it was breathtaking!

This is a hidden gem and an under-appreciated church. If you are a fan of Tintoretto (1518-1594), you need to see a spectacular version of the Last Supper (La Cène) that is very different than those of Leonardo da Vinci and most iterations thereof. It is under lock & key; hence, only available when a docent is present. The docent who taught us was an absolutely charming & kind soul! Check the web site for additional information.
Coincidentally, there is a lovely version in one of the side chapels: “La Communion des Apostres” by Henri Lerolle which is worthy of contemplation and study.
TIP: Finally, take some time to sit, meditate and do whatever nurtures your soul and mind. This is the place and there is always a need for all of us to “pray”...
I know an offering will be appreciated too.

My partner and I are spending an extended stay in Paris and have decided to try a different church each week. This week we chose Église Saint-Francois Xavier. Beautiful and impressive church.
We attended the 11:30 service which was a high mass meaning the mass is sung not spoken word. There were 5 priests, many alter boys and a small choir that sounded like there were 25 singers. The pipe organ was so beautiful, impressive music.
Great way to start the day.

The church is absolutely stunning outside and inside. It probably does not get the same attention as the other tourist favourites but this one is definitely worth a visit with fewer or almost no crowds.

I had just arrived in Paris. Wandered past by chance. Impressive for me. Learned that it was just a hint of things to come. Still very worth seeing!

Very interesting church right on the green way leading to Les Invalides. Not super rich in its interior, still definetely worth to see. Don't miss it.

I wanted to ask what time your church would be open for visitors? We would probably be able to visit it some time in the late afternoon on a week day.
