The Paris city tour was truly a highlight of our visit to Paris. If you want a break from the museums and typical sightseeing, then this is for you. Our tour guide, Sol, was fabulous! She gave us all kinds of information that you will never find in a guide book. She was full of enthusiasm and energy. We learned... More

David and I had an absolutely fantastic time, the group of people were terrific and our guide Ally was informative, knowledgeable and lovely. I would highly recommend this day to anyone wanting a fun and different way to see the spectacular Palace of Versailles

We enjoyed this tour thoroughly and had a fantastic guide. This group truly does take small groups on tour. We met our guide and our small group of about 8 people took the RER to Versailles. There we got our bikes, got some orientation, and were off to a market to get food for our picnic. Know in advance that... More

I can’t speak about other BA guides, but Bianca was absolutely phenomenal. Her knowledge and enthusiasm were unsurpassed and made our day at Versailles just perfect. I have been to Versailles several times in the past, however I learned and saw more in our time with Bianca than I had in all of my previous visits combined. My family of... More

My wife and I enjoyed the tour a lot. Tour guide shown us a lot of very interest places of Paris city that you would not imagine that exists in there. Unfortunatelly we expected to ride over Champ Elliseo and saw the Effiel tower and Triunph Arc close. However we had a great time and we recomen this tour to... More

Dear Fernando, Thanks for posting a review and happy to hear you enjoyed the tour a lot. We believe there is no such thing as a "B" side to Paris ( we think you might of meant "undiscovered" side to Paris maybe?). For us locals the whole of Paris is an "A" side. Our goal at bike about from the... More

This was the highlight of our trip to France. It's hard to peg what the best part was...the views were breathtaking, the history was fascinating, and our tour guide always went the extra mile for us. The tour's genius move is to incorporate a trip to the farmers market, where all the tour group members can pick up food &... More

Can not recommend enough! Got to see parts of the city that we wouldn't have known about otherwise. Tour guides were super friendly and went out of their way to help!

My sister and I really enjoyed the Paris tour and the Versailles tour with Bike About. The guides are friendly and knowledgeable and they keep the groups small (15 of less) compared to other tours which seemed to be 20 to 30 to a single guide. If you do the Versailles bike tour plan on plenty of time afterward to... More

I heard about this tour from a friend who booked this tour for a later date. Checking in was super easy and our tour guide Mark was very friendly and personable. He made sure everyone in the tour caught the train on time and got off the train safely. After he took us to get our bikes he did a... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
