I don't usually write reviews but I would hate for others to waste their time and money like I did. First of, let me start by saying that I may have understood 20% of what the tour guide said. He has a strong accent that...More

Good idea to go to Champagne ! Howerver, Paris Champagne Tour does not organize half day tours to Champagne. We have full day tours by the fast train or by the minivan. You can take the 2 hour city walk tour in Reims with my co worker Stéphanie.
For your half day, you should take the early fast train at the train station gare de l'Est, then you arrive to Reims 45 minutes later, then book a cellar tour at Mumm or Taittinger or Pommery, then you can have a look at the Reims Cathedral before taking the train back to Paris. Anyway, half day is too short. Best wishes for your year-end festivities. Trong

The tour does stop at one larger champagne producer, but which exact producer depends on what is open/available that particular day. We went to tattienger as the larger producer on our trip and it was very interesting. Although I enjoyed the stop at the smaller producer much more!! You stop in the fields where the grapes for all of the large houses, included Vueve Cliquot, are grown.

Hello everyone! I'm in the infant stages of planning a trip for next August. I am going with my wife, son (who will be 2), and my father and mother in law. We are planning on going for 10-14 days. Our plan is to start in Paris for about 4 days, rent a mini van, spend 3-4 days in the champagne region, then on to strasbourg for another 4 days, then back to paris for a night. This wonderful board helped me out huge on my last trip to paris, so I thought I'd come back here for few more...More

Paris Vision Champagne Tour Review (1 Replies)
Seeing the champagne region was very high on my list of “to-dos” on my very short 4-night trip to Paris. I had researched extensively, and while it seemed a doable independent day trip, I was traveling with my 75 year-old father, so the convenience and door-to-door service of the “packaged” tour outweighed the (many) benefits of taking the high-speed train. I just wanted to post this review to encourage anyone who has reservations about booking a tour, for whatever reasons, because it was...More

Thank you so much for the lovely review. While I am generally a fan of doing things myself, I agree that sometimes it is nice to sit back and let someone else take care of the details. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

We took at tour at Tatittinger's yesterday and it took just over an hour. We didn't book in advance, but they only do tours in English at certain times so you may need to check, and book if needed. We did look at a couple of others but they were fully booked so you may be best to book in advance. 3 hours should give you plenty of time at one of the larger champagne houses.
