For the 'Amelie' fans, and for the hungry!

We visited here because I love the film 'Amelie'. But all four of us enjoyed this great little place. Food was nice: we had tofu burgers and steak n chips, as well as 'happy hour... read more

If you love Amelie it's worth visiting it to see the place and upload some pictures to Instagram. But it was a bit expensive and the food wasn't very good… (the creme brulee, anyhow). …Then again, there wasn't really a lot of people dinning in the place in the film, so the menu might be the reason why.

We went for a drink not a meal but it has a nice feel ,ok I love Amelie but I like this bar , a breath of fresh air away from seedy Pigalle and there are some really nice eating places and food shops with an amazing variety,of things ,you may have heard of and never seen by most of... More

I have been there twice... Honeslty, not for the food. Amélie who was shot there brought me to Les 2 moulin in the first place. So, yes, ended up ordering the same thing, la creme brulée, so I could crack the sugar with a spoon... It is so worthy it!

Had breakfast here this morning. The three egg omelette with ham and cheese was delicious. Couldn't understand why so many tourists were taking pictures but realised soon after that this place featured in a popular french movie. Would recommend.

Title says it all, we went mainly due to being fans of Jean-Pierre Jeunet's films and it certainly does deliver for anyone that loved Amelie. It is also worth seeing the collection of film nostalgia in the bathrooms. The fold and service were okay, nothing amazing but nothing terrible either. Probably a better place to just have a drink given... More

Great cafe for a few drinks or snacks. I didn't eat any food but we never had a problem getting a table. Fans of the film with definitely enjoy this place but even if you're not, this is a solid late night cafe/coffeehouse with reasonable prices and good drinks. Open until 1 a.m.

Nice for a quick visit if you are a fan of the movie. Be prepared to be gawked at by tour groups every couple of minutes if you sit outside. Only set menu for breakfast and the staff were very inflexible with this, all I wanted was a chocolate croissant but had to purchase the entire meal. Sadly the staff... More

We went there because my gf watched the movie "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain", and we found a fantastic Creme-Brulé, friendly staff and a nice beer.

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
