We spent 6 hours with Justine walking through Le Marais, across Ile de la Cité and into the Latin Quarter. It was a memorable experience and we learnt so much about the history of the city, modern day customs and how to use the public transport system. Justine is knowledgeable, funny and honest and it was such a pleasure to be guided by her. We used the information we learnt on this day for the remainder of our trip. We highly recommend Justine’s tours

I contacted Justine months before visiting Paris. She always responded promptly with emails. We did both of justines tours. We had such a fabulous time and learned so much. Even though our first tour was in heavy rain and we were jet lagged we still enjoyed our time. She is a pleasure and very animated in her descriptions and presentations. She can also help you plan other things to do in Paris. A true delight. Merci

Justine is a passionate Parisian who simply loves the city and cannot wait to share her knowledge with you .
My wife and I had been to Paris previously and decided to bring our 10 year old daughter to visit this time. Paris is our last European stop and with only 3 days here, we have decided to just have a relaxing and chill and easy time in Paris. Justine was attentive and considered the places we wanted to visit make some suggestion and organised our perfect itinerary.
I had never had a travel guide who is so attentive and organised!
These are her unique style and qualities that we love:

1. Never once we ever had a guide who met up with us prior to the onset of our itinerary. We were greeted at the hotel on arrival, we were given a brief summary of the lay of the land and was handed her personal guide to Paris handbook which was invaluable. A definite keeper.

2. Justine provided us with her contact details for any concerns or questions during our stay.

3. An insider list of some local restaurants frequented by the locals to match our culinary requirements.

4. A tour of the local market where the Parisians get their fresh produce incl fruits and vegetables , the cheeses and the pates......

5. A picnic in a secret secluded location away by the river Seine away from the tourists, enjoying the Parisian produces, the wine and the views of the Notre Dame de Paris. Simply amazing .

6. A simple pragmatic way of identifying certain landmark to navigate a neighbourhood without getting loss, in our case the Marais.

Justine is a definitely treasure . To us , she is more than a guide . She felt more like a good friend in Paris . She is a passionate Parisian who enjoy life and cannot wait to share her love of the city. She embraces all of what the city has to offer despite the recent tragic incidents, except her hatred of bird poo .. that's another story.

Merci beaucoup mademoiselle.

My husband and I like to travel and explore, usually without a tour guide. However, during our travel to Italy a while back, we discovered Eddie's (see our other review) and wanted the same experience for our first trip to Paris. We didn't want to participate in a big tour group, where you are as fast as the slowest person in the group. We didn't want a tour guide to take us to tourist sites or museums as we can find them on our own. What we really wanted was to venture off into less known, less touristy areas. Using tripadvisor, I began my research.

As read through everyone's reviews, nothing really caught my eye. I scrolled down further and ran into Just'in Paris Private Tours. Don't let her rating number fool you! She just began her business so she doesn't have a lot of reviews, but her service is impeccable. Before our trip Justine emailed me to set up a phone call. During the call she was very thorough with her questions to get a good sense of what we really wanted. After talking for about 20 minutes, she recommended that we do a combination of "Friend in Paris" and "Day with a Parisian." Justine is a good communicator. She always took less than 24 hours to answer our email.

We met Justine at a cafe not too far from our hotel. We sat and talked about an hour before we got an a bus and headed towards La Maris to visit the open air market. Afterwards, we headed towards Bastille and wandered around different gardens looking at may beautiful mansions in the area. We stopped off for lunch at a wonderful Asian fusion french bistro. The food was delicious. Next we went to the Jewish Quarter and visited Pierre Herme , Justine's favorite macaron shop, which quickly became our favorite. We had a chance to taste foie gras and chocolate; foie gras and fig; and the most unusual white truffle (the actual mushroom, not white chocolate) flavored macaron.

Afterwards, we walked towards the Republic and headed to a wine shop owned by one of Justine's friends. We didn't want a typical cheese and wine tasting. Since I was studying for my wine certification, Justine's friend offered to organize a blind wine tasting accompanied by individual cheeses to compliment the wine. I learned so much from him that day.

The best part about the whole experience was that Justine never rushed us through anything. Even though we unintentionally went over our allotted time, she never made us feel that we had to hurry. Even after our tour, Justine continued to offer her service to us by recommending restaurants and making reservations on our behalf. We would recommend her services to anyone, even for those who have frequently visited Paris.

One tip: Justine taught us how to purchase metro tickets. Due to the time we were in Paris, Justine told us that busying 10 tickets at 13 euros would be the most cost efficient for us. If she hasn't told us that, we would have bought individual tickets or an entire book of tickets which would have cost more and left us with unused tickets.

Our trip to Paris could never had been as wonderful without Justine! She was so enjoyable to be with and immensely helpful. We enjoyed her as a guide and also had time on our own that she helped us organize before our arrival. We were traveling with our three kids and were in Paris over Christmas for only 3 days. She helped identify what was open Christmas eve/day so that we could maximize our time and smoothly transition from one place to the next with a map and directions on how to get there. Her restaurant recommendations were deliciuex! My husband and I have been to Paris a few times before and I would definitely call her on our next visit. She is a neat person to know and will give your visit to Paris that something extra special that you can only get from someone who lives there full time.

Justine managed to coordinate our time in Paris on very short notice. We definitely appreciated the phone call to discuss our thoughts and wishes prior to engaging her services - much more efficient than multiple e-mails back and forth as it allowed us to get a sense of what she was like (and she of us). In addition to the meet and greet, we had a 4 hour walking tour with Justine. We learned a lot about French history as well as the history of Paris as well as some traits of the French people. She even managed to find us a shop where we could purchase umbrellas as it was raining quite heavily. We had hoped to book additional tours but given our short notice she was previously booked. However she did provide us with a custom booklet of other areas to visit and maps with routes for our remaining days in Paris. Justine coordinated everything for us including transfers from the airport as well as other tours. She gave us a list of restaurants to consider while we were in Paris and made dinner reservations for us. All of the meals were wonderful. It was like having a friend provide a personal tour package for our time in Paris. She was always available via text if needed but she let us know that while she was conducting a tour, her replies would be delayed - very professional. Thanks Justine for a memorable first trip to Paris. We look forward to planning our next Paris vacation with you.

Shout out to Justine and her tour guiding savvy. I didn't take the tour. I arranged for it as a gift for my grown sons who were both in Europe for work and planned a rendezvous in Paris just prior to Christmas. Both had been there previously and both are interested in history so a 4-hour walking tour of the Marais district seemed like a good fit. Well, we all know what happened. Paris kind of exploded with demonstrations (Yellow Vest). Turned out that during their weekend in Paris everything was pretty much closed, but Justine was still willing to escort them around the city, pointing out historical buildings and sites. Along the way they also received a lot of background on the present situation in Paris. They thought it was a great tour and they were really impressed with Justine's knowledge of the city and its history. They observed the demonstrations from a safe-ish distance and they never really felt threatened in any way. Next time I'm in Paris, I will definitely book my own tour with Justine. Also, she was extremely professional and responsive while booking and making arrangements that took into account the dynamics of the demonstrations.

Justine is passionate about her city and her work. She took care to understand what I wanted to get out of a tour, and made it better than I could have imagined! I was travelling with my parents, and she paced the tour perfectly so no one tired out. She is a gifted storyteller and a natural teacher. She is warm and hospitable. I felt as though I was touring with an extremely knowledgeable friend! Do not hesitate to book a tour with her. Thank you, Justine, for a truly unforgettable experience!

When we finally booked our trip to Paris, we knew that we wanted to do some non-touristy things and feel a little like Parisians in the week we were in Paris. Justine has the best advice ever. Firstly she recommended that we go to Rue Cler on our first afternoon to buy provisions for a picnic at the Eiffel Tower. What a wonderful experience we had shopping for cheese, bread and saucissson .
Justine tailor made a walking tour for us in Paris in the le Marais area. She met us first at our apartment with maps and booklets to assist us during the week to see the sights we were interested in. She assisted us with our first metro experience and showed us both the historical and shopping delights of Le Marais. We ate Breton crepes and drank cider for lunch, laughed a lot and thoroughly enjoyed this experience
I can recommend anyone travelling to Paris to contact Justine to experience Paris with her. Cant wait to go again

Justine planned our trip perfectly! Justine organized every detail of our week-long trip to Paris. Prior to our trip we communicated via email and phone. She organized the best lunches and dinners (even the perfect table on the dinner cruise so we had the best possible view of all of the sites). She had each day planned perfectly; from the walking tour with her of Le Marais to the visits to the Louvre and Versailles with Julie. Not to mention one of our absolute favorites, the 2CV night tour with Cedrics Paris. She met us at our hotel on our first day with a map of the city, a fully planned out (and written out) daily plan. She discussed in detail everything we could possibly want and need to know. She even walked us to the closest metro and showed us how to navigate the system!! On our walking tour with us, she was fun, delightful and entertaining (like an old friend from college). She has a vast depth of French historical knowledge and presents it in an interesting and receivable manner. She is by far one of the best tour guides we have ever met. She really enjoys her profession and it shows.
