I spent an interesting and enlightening 2 1/2 hours here and will return when next in Paris. Full of such interesting information and plenty of hands-on activities and exhibits. I had no idea how the Enigma Machine worked, the different methods of learning a second...More

Its geared to middle school students (maybe). Despie its claim to be multilingual, most everything is European. Almost no Asian or Middle Eastern languages. Canned presentations are juvenile at best.More

Really sorry it was not to your liking - fortunately most people seem to like the museum as witnessed by the majority of the Tripadvisor comments. We make no secret of the fact that there is very little content that is new or orignal -...More

Wonderful way to spend a few hours in Paris if you're into language and linguistics. This is not the average museum where you passively wander exhibits taking pictures and reading the attached cards. This feels more like a study session and in a very good...More

Good little place, but more of a place for kids (older kids) or people who want to learn more about language. I'm really into language so I went, but most stuff there I already knew. For me, really not a place to go in Paris,...More

This small museum is a find indeed. Over 2 floors it covers a lot of aspects about language, with many interactive displays. We spent nearly 2 hours in there but still couldn't complete it all! Very educational and very suitable for children as well.

I brought 11 college students here during a summer study abroad session (July 2017) teaching with the European Council in the University System of Georgia. The museum originator gave us (for a small extra fee) a brilliant and engaging one hour seminar and tour of...More

This is a private initiative, a low-fi little place stuffed into two rooms and a vast basement in the university quarters of Paris. But it is incredibly well-researched, interestingly presented and illustrates language and languages from all conceivable angles. You might think this a pretty...More

A great little museum hidden in a beautiful part of Paris! The staff were most helpful and friendly upon arrival. Plenty of activities to do, which are all laid out in unique and interesting ways! Would definitely visit again and highly recommend!

It's so small and quirky, but for language lovers, it is a must see! It is definitely a place you could spend the whole day viewing. I highly recommend it!
