I cannot evaluate this museum only for the exhibition I've visit there (the wonderful "L'art des Super Héros - Art of the Marvel Super Heroes”, YOU MUST GO IF YOU ARE A MARVEL FAN!) but for the way the exhibition was structured, or for the price you pay to visit it.
Well, I think that the ticket fee for the show (15€) was adequate and the exhibition was well structured, easy to follow and with tons of material to see. I've spend 1,5h in there but just because I had to leave in order to take a plane.
The shop zone is not big enough, but this is only a little defect.
This is the second exhibition, museum is quite new but if every show will be edited like the one I've visit then this Musee Art Ludique will become a must for every game/comics/animation fan of the world.

The exhibition was mostly artwork from many of the favourites, Toy Story, Monsters Inc etc. We felt that any one of the framed pieces would look fantastic on our wall. I particularly liked the zootropic animation and found it fascinating.
This exhibition doesn't really provide much information on the process or production side, it is purely about displaying the artwork.

the exhibition is well done. it leads you through the history and creation of all the major disney movies from one room
into another. it takes you down memory lane with sketches, story board and movie clips. ticket is 16 euro which includes audio guide. i went when it opened so there wasn't any line for tickets and entered quickly. could spend about 1.5 hours going through the exhibition. they conducted an initial bag check before you entered. also the building has a roof top with what looks like outdoor restaurant/lounge.

Our overall impression is that this place is unfriendly. Before you get in to the exhibition: Don't be hungry (no access to a café) or warm (no cloak room). It is not possible to go out and come back. Not even from the book shop of Art Ludique. If you try, the guards will enlighten you on these points in a quite unfriendly manner. This is supposed to be a place for families. We would like to know in what way

We went to the Studio Ghibli exhibit. To get the most out of the experience, you must get the audio guide (available in several languages). We waited in line for a while (my daughter is a huge fan of Spirited Away) but once we were in the museum, the staff could not have been more helpful or professional. Honestly, we did not come to Paris expecting to visit this exhibit, but it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The drawings were amazing and we learned a great deal about the art of cinematic animation.

This is a very exciting 'museum' ( the term museum always makes me think of things of older times, where this is more of an art exhibition) showing contemporary subjects, in this case the art of Studio Ghibli - hundreds if not thousands of original drawing which led to the creation of the Studio Ghibli films. It is slightly overwhelming but totally engaging. Make sure you get an audio guide as it really helps bring the subject matter alive.

I came here recently with my boyfriend to check out the Marvel Exhibition. We ventured around and found a really cool restaurant downstairs by the river as well as a skateboarding "park," which was nice to see! The Marvel Exhibition in the Art Ludique was well worth the money - it was quite long and detailed, so the Marvel aficionado will be thrilled to be here! Wish their gift shop selection was a bit larger, though! Apart from that, a good time.

Although Art Ludique and the building where it is housed, Les Docks, could be easier to get to (Velib, put in a station here!), it is worth the trip. The museum is mounting interesting shows - we saw the Marvel Comics show - and the rehabilitated riverside warehouse makes for fascinating exhibition spaces for those of us who are interested in that as well. Afterwards, go to the roof of Les Docks for the view, a burger, a beer...

When we found out that there is going to be Pixar exhibition the same time we are visiting Paris we knew immediately that we want to visit it, we love animated movies like Wall-E, Ratatouille, Cars...
I was wondering for a while to buy or not to buy the tickets online, since the ticket came with a time frame to enter. We did end up to buy them in advance, and when arrived at the location there was no lines at all.
The exhibitions itself was interesting, some things more than others. But I guess we will join the others that something was lacking. We were left to hope for more. But I will repeat that there were things that we really enjoyed a lot.
I would have loved to see more places to have a break inside, maybe even a cafe with snacks. We spent almost two hours in there, and could have spent more.
The exhibition is till the beginning of March.

Bonjour,
