The catacombes are impressive. Meters under the ground, you will walk through narrow tunnels and than suddenly you will be confronted with thousands of skulls and bones. All put nicely on top of each other. Really impressive. I rate it only 4 stars as the tickets are expensive and the booking experience is underwhelming.

The queue was three hours long! Make sure you buy the skip the queue pass, it is worth the money (you get a free audioguide too which may have been good) Well worth the visit, Long stunning intricate tunnels.

we arrived around 11:30 am but had to wait in line 3 hours!! It is seriously worth the €30 each for queue skip and audio guide as otherwise it takes up most of your day in Paris! The staff are terrible and quite rude... however the attraction itself is amazing! Well worth the visit.

After visiting the catacombes today I would not recommend it to anyone... where to start, my partner and I got there at 11.15am and had to wait in a line for 5 hours our day was wasted, when we finally got into it you walk down some stairs through a brick wall walkway for about 5 minutes, when you finally arrive to the parts you want to see only set parts are open it’s takes you about 5 minutes to get through there and then you go up some more steps and that’s the tour over... I completely wasted money and time on such a pointless activity... it’s really not worth it
