Used this as our main mode of transportation to get around to see most of the main attractions in the city. It was great with our 2 boys, aged 10 and 8. It gave them a chance to see some of the sites without constantly walking. It has enough boats that come at a regular enough time that you're not waiting an exorbitant amount of time. There was one time we may have waiting 20 minutes, but it was a nice day, we didn't mind being by the water while waiting for the boat. Lots of room to sit. It is not, however, a tour boat, there is no running commentary. We knew that, but just felt the need to say it in case it's a question.

After visiting Eiffel Tower, we took the River Seine late afternoon cruise with Batobus. There was a long queue to board the boat but it was done systematically. The boat passed by famous monuments such as Eiffel Tower, Invalides/Pont Alexandre III, Musée d'Orsay, St Germain des Prés, Notre-Dame, Jardin des plantes/Cité de la Mode, Hôtel de Ville, Louvre and Champs-Elysées.

This boat cruise is a 2 hour cruise and does not stop along the way. We got to see the Eiffel Tower towards sunset and into the night. The Eiffel Tower looks amazing at night and the flashing sparkling light effect comes on for 5mins every hour.

Must try this boat cruise.

We took the Batobus after a visit to the Eiffel Tower. We were originally going to go back to our hotel but ended up riding it for almost the whole circuit. The clear top gives a wonderful view of the passing city and it is fun to see the carvings on the sides of the bridges over the Seine that are otherwise hard to spot. It ws the only way we were able to see Notre Dame, as it was cordoned off after the fire. We got off to explore another section of the city and were able to get back on with no trouble. One caution - make sure you are getting off at the right stop. We went one stop too far when returning and ended up with quite a hike back to the hotel.

I used this service back in 2019 and it was great! Using it in 2021 it was HORRIBLE. We experienced racism, judgement, and rudeness all the way across the board. We tried to get on one of the stops and a employee told us we needed a ticket when it said PLAIN AS DAY on the email to just show the code on your phone. He just simply keep telling us he wouldn’t let us on, mind you no one else at the stop had tickets either, but he let them on. We went to the next stop and asked a woman at a ticket booth for a ticket and she confirmed we did not need a ticket just the QR code and there wasn’t any tickets to give us. We were only in Paris for a day, so to not waste anymore time we walked 15 mins in the rain to another stop. When we got to the next stop, we wanted to clarify again that no ticket was needed. We asked staff and they were very rude stating over course you don’t need a ticket. They asked us where we wanted to go and we said the Louvre (we are American and didn’t say the name correctly), the staff member said that’s not a place here and proceeds on giving us a lesson on how to pronounce the name in a rude manner. All in all our Paris trip was ruined by Batobus. Their attitudes were unfriendly and it’s fair to say we were treated like this because not only are we American, but also the color of our skin. We were met by such rudeness we ended up just taking Ubers everywhere which was much more expensive than we wanted it to be. Will never recommend this company to anyone again.

The boat circulates continuously from Notre Dame in the east to Eifel Tower in the west, stopping at all the main tourist sights. But the only outside area is standing at the back of the boat, lots of pushing and shoving. Sit inside (if you can find a seat) and you don't see much and you can't even get a bottle of water. Seemed a nice idea to hop on and off but the reality is that, if you got off, you face a massive queue to get back on. So we just did the full tour without getting off and went on our merry way. Better to walk, grab a cab or hop on the metro.

Stops were not announced or didn’t come on the electronic info board
Missed the stop even though asked the attendant, later she said ‘you need to listen’ I was checking the written information, she said it doesn’t always come up there.
This is for tourist, I don’t believe many passengers in this boat spoke French, even Even English with accent hard to understand.
Poor customer service

I accidentally booked a ticket for the wrong day and did an online chat with staff to correct it immediately. They were fast and friendly and took care of the issue efficiently.

The boat ride itself was just okay. The process for getting folks on and off was slow and inefficient. More time is spent at the dock loading people than seeing sights.

It’s a bit hot on the boat - felt like a greenhouse. However, once staff opened some windows there was a pleasant breeze.

Other options for boat rides were vastly more crowded. They appeared to have fewer stops and less loading times.

We'd previously used bateaux mouches, so knowing the Batobus was hop on hop off to 9 sites, without commentary, we thought a '24 hour pass' at23 euros each would be something a little different.... It was! From the first enquiry to kiosk staff two days ago (about additional information on the route - met with a shrug) - to the next day booking, made impossible by card for us, and others as there was ' no connection', late start of the first boat and the 'iffy' internal scanner checking phone QR codes, resulting in delayed boarding, it was hugely disappointing. As others have said, no useful information at the stops we used (just a few, as took to walking in the end) and the '24 hour pass' is very misleading as their hours are 10.00 - ish - to 16.30 - ish. Customer service was poor, even those of us who tried politely using our basic French to communicate would have appreciated a pleasant manner - kiosk staff we came across were diffident. Save yourself from the Batobus 'experience' and save your money. NOT recommended.

This is the best way to see ALL the attractions in Paris !
Its good value and very easy as all the stops put you directly at each attraction without fighting through traffic and street crowds so much less stressful way to get around . Boats are comfortable and weather proof without blocking views . Highly recommend .

Great way to visit the famous sites in Paris, nine different stops. Costs 23 Euros for an adult for a day's Hop on Hop off travelling. Good value, more versatile and cheaper than the hour long cruises ,you just don't get the commentary. We visited after the Olympics, pre Paralympics, so we missed a lot of the iconic views due to stadiums, placards etc. But no problem with Batobus as they kept to their original route.
