Spent a very enjoyable hour here with 3 children, aged 8-13. Once we got in to hang of it we loved finding the clues which would lead to the next part. Would have loved to play another game but quite expensive for one hour.

I do scores of escape rooms - I've done nearly 100 - and I wanted to plan an escape while visiting Paris with my wife and young son (he is 5). HintHunt's Submarine Game was fantastic! We selected the more difficult setting, even though the game is designed for 3-5. We had more like 2.5 players. The game was great:... More

We did the James Murdock escape room which was very well designed, incorporating a number of neat ideas which were a pleasure to solve! The length of the room was just right, and our guide demonstrated excellent judgment in when to release hints and which hints to give. We all thoroughly enjoyed our experience and left hungry for more -... More

We did John Monroe's room and the Zen room. For John Monroe: We found the scenario coherent and the decor very rich. Clues are well hidden and puzzles are well thought through. The game design and pacing was fantastic and some puzzles were very fun to solve. For Zen room: That room was more puzzle oriented and the story-line was... More

With friends or family, definitly go and do an evasion game : it's really good fun. We did the submarine, last friday, and for a first time, enjoy very much. It last one hour and the time is flying by. The game master was really good too

Eight people including three generations of our family aged 9 to 75 years old split into two teams and did two Submarine Rooms at the same time. ie a race. Fantastic fun for all with age no barrier to contributing to a fun and challenging game. We will definitely do more of these.

We visited Paris for 2 days and although the majority of the time was spent sightseeing and walking through the city, the highlight was Hinthunt! It was a fantastic contrast to the physical endures of travel with an hour of team building and working together as a family. The boys (aged 9 and 13) thoroughly enjoyed the experience even though... The five of us went for the beginner's level submarine adventure. We didn't really know what to expect when we entered the room and that's what was exciting about it. Remember to look around, talk to your teammates and everybody's skills will naturally surface when trying to solve the mystery as a team. Thanks to Richard for sending us the... More

We had a fun time trying to figure this game out. This is only the second time I've played at an Escape Room. I thought the game was very challenging. The staff was friendly and fun. Great to do on a hot day.

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
