My husband and I visited the Latin quarter in February and we stumbled upon this treasure of a shop, near the Norte Dame. My advice is to save your money from the regular old souvenir stores and stop into this magical little find. I love my little music box (Clair de Lune). Friendly personal local owner who was happy to help and speak to us, thank you again. Perfect presents for kids, wives, girlfriends, moms, etc....

This is one of the most beautiful and unique shops in Paris. It’s very fun to look at all the amazing, unbelievable assortment of music boxes, ornaments, etc. The owner, Saadia, is a very kind and thoughtful person. And she is multilingual. She took the time to tell us about the easiest and best way navigate our way around Paris. Meeting her was a highlight of our trip to France.

I visited the shop with my friends after i had searched for a toy shop in Paris and i think it is a must-see for those who want to buy souvenirs or gifts or original toys. It is very close to the Notre Dame and easy to find. You should see every corner of the store and you will spend hours there. You will find a marvelous world of collection toys. And the store owner is a very lovely and helpful woman as well. 🎪🛍

It´s a very small place but full of joy! There are toys for the old, the young, for everybody really! So interesting, cute, cozy! All the products are hand made, from many artisans all over Europe, the owner is especially nice and entertaining too. So, if you are near Notre Dame, St Michel or really...if you are in Paris, this is an amazing gift shop for you or your loved ones, for souvenirs too!

My mother and I met an elder Italian woman in a nearby restaurant, and she asked us if we had been to the store across the corner. We said no, but promised to visit it the next day as she went on and on about how delightful it is. And, it is, indeed, truly delightful! Saadia is so sweet, and you can tell that all things musical and whimsical are her passion! There are items for all ages at all price points. You can even customize your own little box by choosing from dozens of inner workings with various tunes, from the Harry Potter theme to classic French tunes. Honestly, we had a hard time leaving the store--in every nook and cranny, there was something to discover. I would say that this place will be a must-go-to destination every time I visit Paris now!

A hidden gem in the Paris streets for music boxes lovers and enthusiastic folks. A very rich exhibition of all kinds of tiny music devices in a vast variety of original forms and colors. The shop is located nearby Notre Dame on the west bank. Easy to find and easy to get to. The owner will charmingly welcome you and will be happy to search for any specific melody, tour you around the numerous variety of pieces in the shop while also offering a nice chat at the same time. Lovely. We had a great time and carried with us some nice memories from that visit.

Last Sunday afternoon, November 10, 2019 my mother and I visited this store for the very first time. I wanted to get wonderful Parisian music boxes for myself and my best friend. I read reviews on this store and so when I planned my very first trip to Paris I knew I had to come here! When we arrived at the store it looked like it was half closed since the metal door was halfway up. The hours listed it as open and so I knocked on the door like crazy. I flew all the way from New Jersey to visit this store and I really wanted to see it. The owner saw me begging her to open the door. She was about to go on her dinner break until I showed up. She was so nice to open the store and let us in. When I entered inside I was amazed! Beautiful music boxes, ornaments and more! I was looking for a music box for myself that played "la vie en rose". She pulled out a brand new wooden music box that was made in northern France, near the border of Switzerland. It was so beautiful and played the song! She also helped me find a music box for my best friend who also just got married. We got her a music box with a photo of a couple holding hands and the song that played was "What a wonderful world "! The owner was so nice to my mom and I, explained and showed us so many nice things! She was so sweet and amazing! She even gave us a Christmas ornament to take home to the USA! The store owner was so sweet, helpful and kind. I'm so grateful for her beautiful heart. The music box I bought is so special that I'm going to pass it down to my children and grandchildren one day. When I return to Paris one day I will definitely visit this store again. Thank you again for everything!

While walking back to our apartment I noticed this tiny shop selling music boxes. When I stepped inside the sheer magnitude of charming music bores, small exquisite ornaments and various trinkets, all high quality. The real treasure was the shop owner who was so sweet and kind to this tourist. I purchased almost all my souvenirs from this tiny shop, knowing I was taking home quality gifts to my loved ones. Of course there was more than a few for me. Definitely worth visiting.

I visited this store with my partner and absolutely fell in love with the beautiful music boxes, trinkets and mobiles. It really is an Aladdin's cave. If i hadn't had to consider suitcase space I would have bought much more, however I limited myself to a handmade mobile for our daughter's room which I adore and so does she! I'd highly recommend this shop on a trip to Paris- the owner is super friendly and there is something for every taste.

This quaint little shop is just a short distance from Notre Dame. I felt like a little girl again amidst the collection of all things music box, many made in Germany. It was a magical place, and the cheerful owner was very helpful in finding just what I was looking for. Upon learning that I was bringing the music boxes back home to the US, she fussed and took time wrapping and packaging them, regaling me with stories of customers who came back again and again to her store. The store, and the area around it, is everything you imagine Paris to be.
