Our 4 kids (13, 11 ,9 & 6) hate tours, so when I book a tour it better be good! The kids voted the Eiffel Tower Theatrical Tour the best tour they have ever done!

The tour gave us access to parts of the Eiffel Tower we wouldn't have otherwise seen with the usual "skip the line" tour - the radio station bunker, under the Tower to see the hydraulic elevators, on top of the restaurant and, of course, no queues - straight up to the second floor.

Henri, our tour guide, was fun and entertaining. His English was great. He was very knowledgeable, talented and told a fascinating story which kept all of us entertained.

Do yourself a favour and book this tour, as it is so much better than the usual "skip the line" tours.

Couldn't book direct tickets to Eiffel Tower during family vacation to Europe (sold out during travel time), so clicked on link to Visites-Spectacles since they had tickets available during the time we needed. Thought the story would be cheesy since we just wanted to see the tower, but our guide gave us some awesome background information on the history of the tower, gave us a behind-the-scenes tour of what's underground, and then most of the presentation was given from the deck ABOVE the restaurant, so we had about 45 mins of undisturbed access from a "private" level of the Tower for just the 15 people in our tour group - it was awesome! Our guide was a great guy, very personable, and was able to answer a lot of extra questions that our group asked him. I'd highly recommend using him... skipped all of the lines and so many extras!

Brilliant way to experience the Eiffel Tower. One of the trip highlights.
Our guide was highly entertaining and gave us an in depth tour of the tower.
The tour allows you access to the bunker and the engine rooms of the tower. You also have fast track tickets to the tower and access to the 2nd level is including in the price.
Tickets to the summit can be brought inside the tower.

As other reviewers have mentioned this tour gets you to the second level... but also into the bunker and under the Eiffel tower to see how the hydraulic elevators operate. Very informative and fun guide. Our two girls 6 and 9 years enjoyed it and us adults also learnt new things that on previous visits I was unaware of having just done the stand in line and go up the tower option. Skipping all the lines was a great bonus and as the guide knew all the staff it was a friendly interaction with all who worked there. Everyone booked in to the tour were English speakers so the guide just spoke English. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Tour and not just because you get front of the line service and you get to see things from behind the scenes. It is the French actor Nathaniel that makes this tour special. This acting skills turn this into more of a story than a bunch of facts. Well worth the money.

The first thing I must say is that the guide was superb. His English was wonderful and he really did seem to know his stuff and provided facts and historical bits of info throughout.

It was interesting to go underground and also see the lift workings, whilst the stacks of info that he provided on the safeguards that the lifts contained would calm even the most fearful.

The tour takes you up to the 2nd floor - where unfortunately we had to leave the guide - this was due to the tight schedule we had set and us wanting to have enough time to take in the view, as the queues for the lifts down were getting quite long.

I think the tour time of approx. 1 hour 30 mins is about right, however after getting through safety checks, queuing to get down and taking time to view you will really be looking at 2 - 3 hours (level 2 only - level 3 will take longer).

You do not have the queuing problems of those below and although not as bad as I have seen it before, it wouldn't have surprised if people were queuing for well over an hour. The fast track passes are the major plus point of this tour and make it will worth the extra 10 Euros each (approx.)

There are several ways to visit the Eiffel tower. 1) You can stand in line to get in, and stand in line and stand in line... 2) You can order tickets online for a certain time, and stand in line and stand in line...3) You can book this tour, and not stand in line, but have a great time!
I've experienced lots of tours, interesting tours where you get lots of facts. Very interesting, but by the time you get home you are glad if you still remember one or two of the things you've been explained. And then you wonder if you couldn't just have visited those sights without the guide.

Well, that will definitely not be the case when you visit the Eiffel tower together with a guide of Visites-Spectacles! You'll get to hear all the facts, but also something much more important: a story that sticks with you. A really fun informative guide (or should I say 3 guides ;)) takes you on a trip back in time, not only up the Eiffel tower, but also down in the bunker where other tourists can't go. You will see other people on the Eiffeltower watching you when you can go to places where it says "entrance forbidden".

I won't spoil any surprises by telling any details about the experience, but I'm sure anyone who books this tour will enjoy it. We only wished we hadn't booked this tour on our last day in Paris, because now we are certain we would have liked their other tours as well. Guess we'll have to go back to Paris one day to have some more fun!

ps: we booked the tour directly via their website.

On Sunday 6 October we (me Family and I) arrived at the Eiffel tower and after a few minutes our Guide showed up. Then there begun an experience we loved from start to end and gave us so much more then just visiting the Eiffel tower. I'm not going into details because that would spoil the experience, but if you can spare the extra money between just buying a ticket and this i would recommend it totally to everybody, and you skip the line (which can be very long) as a side effect.

Phillipe was our best tour guide over a one month trip of many tours. Our party of 8 including 4 children thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It was informative, entertaining, engaging, funny, delightful and fun! The best way to visit the Eiffel Tower! Many thanks to Philipe who is exceptional at what he does! I laughed the whole way through the tour!

We arrived a bit early and appreciated the skip the line feature. Our guide Louise was wonderful with both adults and children. Offering stories and information and keeping us engaged the whole time. You don't go far into the bunker but it and a remaining tunnel back to the Eiffel Tower are still interesting to see and we learned a lot about the history of the Tower. Easily back to Tower and through security we then went underneath one leg of the Tower to see and learn about hydraulics that still run one of the elevators. Then got right on to the elevator to the second floor where our tour ended. We could stay as long as we wanted and if desired pay to go the the third floor. A very good tour for first visit to Tower.
