DDAY tour from Paris

*** PLEASE NOTE THE 890EUR PRICE IS FROM 1 TO 4 PEOPLE ***

This tour takes you from Paris into the heart of the Normandy, countryside to some of the most inspiring and heart-breaking places on the coast of France.

First of all we will stop to Bayeux, which is one of the most beautiful towns in Normandy for lunch. You could also enjoy Notre Dame de Bayeux cathedral, which is a wonderful gothic cathedral from the Middle Ages.

Then we will drive to US cemetary and Omaha beach, through the roads your fathers and grand fathers used to penetrate in Normandy after the DDAY. You will have all the time needed to explore at your own rhythm, without being rushed by a guide, everything is very well explained there

We will keep driving through the picturesque roads of the french norman countryside to Pointe du Hoc, where you could see the impressive craters left by the germans bombs

By then it will be the end of the afternoon we will drive back to Paris and arrive at around 8-9pm

Review of: Champagne Tour
This is our second tour with David. A few years back, we did a layover tour in Paris. This time around, we had a longer layover (~12 hours), so we ventured out to Reims. We had a fantastic experience at Taittinger - the tour was very comprehensive and the tasting was great. Since we visited off-season and had limited time, we weren't able to do other tours. We briefly stopped at Moet, since the boutique was open (they weren't open for tours, though). We also drove around a bit to take in the picturesque towns and views - we got fantastic shots of the landscape. We were also able to tour the Cathedral in Reims and have a nice lunch. David is warm, friendly, and timely! We did so much and still made it back to the airport with time to spare. Would recommend any tour with David. Looking forward to coming back for another tour during the warmer months.

This is my second time booking David for a tour in France. A group of 4 was picked up promptly by David and driven to a small town called Bayeux for lunch. The vehicle was clean and spacious. David's English is perfect and during the drive, he gave a great rundown of the day and was upfront that we were in control of stopping for drinks/bathroom breaks. David has a mastery of French history and all things related to DDay. We took the back roads rather than the highway to get a feel for what the soldiers encountered on those fateful days. All of stops (cemetery, Omaha Beach, Ponte de Hoc) were explained to us in detail and allowed us to enjoy the sites that much more. I would highly recommend this trip for the history and David's knowledge and the overall gravity of visiting these hallowed sites.

We booked David after reading the Tripadvisor reviews and were pleased with our experience. He picked us up from the airport mid morning and showed us around all the major sights of Paris, dropped us at the Louvre for a private tour, and then took us to the Eiffel Tower and finally dropped us off at our airport hotel. He never rushed us and was extremely friendly and pleasant. I highly recommend him.

Our layover in Paris was amazing. We had about 6 hours there, and we got the absolute most out of it! David was great, and took us to some great places! He was very knowledgeable about the city! I would definitely recommend David to anyone looking to see the city!

David picked us up from our AirBnb in Paris. Immediately he had a great connection with our group of four, ranging in age from 20-60. He had a great personality, very knowledgable, as we passed landmarks he was very informative and he also answered all our questions. We never felt rushed at anytime. This was a full-day trip, about 12 hours. We stopped at locations in Normandy that we would not have on a regular bus tour. In addition, we stopped for lunch in a very quaint town in Normandy (Les Volets Roses Restaurant). As we arrived back in Paris he pointed out many local restaurants and various landmarks. We would highly recommend David as a tour guide.
