We arrived at this club at around 12am, we had no problems getting into the club the bouncers were very friendly. I do think that in order to gain access to this club you must be dressed very stylish and classy, I think that's why people may find it difficult to get into this club. Also I totally disagree with the racist comments. This club had people working there who were of an ethic origin so I find it quite hard to believe that this club is racist. The drinks at this club are expensive, a small bottle of water are 10 euros. However we did get given a free shot and a drink :) If you like Hip Hop and RnB this is the perfect club for you! The music was very good. Would definitely recommend this club and would visit again.…

Eager to experience some nightlife in Paris and being a hip-hop fan, Club 79 was first on the list however I was slightly hesitant mainly because of some of the reviews on here especially those alluding to racial discrimination. Either way, my husband and I thought we would try our luck. As we hadn’t booked a table and were not on a guest list, we queued for maybe 2 to 3 minutes, once at the front, we were welcomed into the club. We did see some people get turned away but unlike other reviewers report, this process was civil without any pandemonium or upheaval. It is clear that the club has a strict dress code policy although people on guest list appeared to be able to adopt a more relaxed dress code. Once in, the atmosphere was brilliant, we visited on a Saturday night and the music was mainly House and Hip-Hop. Everybody was friendly and the crowd volume was just right. We had a great night and were pleasantly surprised.…

I arrived in front of Club79 a Thursday night with a bunch of friends from different places, mostly Italians, French and an Asian girl. I had called them the afternoon and booked a table for 9 people, at least that is what I was told; at the entrance the bodyguard checks his whatsapp pretending that was the list and says we are not allowed to go in, I show him the calls between me and Club79 on my phone and he answers that he does not care. Useless to say we did not make a scene and went straight to L'Arc and had a great time there. …

I emailed the club a week before we were due to visit Paris and Radwan from the club emailed back to say that she would let the doormen know that a large group of us was coming and that she would ensure there would be no problem for us to get in. We arrived at 12.30am all girls in dresses and heels as requested by Radwan. After ten mins of queuing (we were at the top) some arrogant pathetic excuse for a bouncer who was quite clearly on a power trip, took one look at us and said we aren't getting in. I asked to speak to Radwan and tried to show him her email and he was not interested. His response was 'Radwan isn't here, I'm here and you aren't coming in.' There were 15 of us girls all dressed glam and just wanted to party, we were all Asian. The idiot at the door clearly didn't like the look of us. If only the owners knew how much money this prat was losing them! If you are arranging a night out in Paris, do not bother here!…

My goodness, I've never wanted to leave a place so badly. Very rude and racist doormen. Witnessed a bouncer slapping and beating up a partygoer because he was trying to get in. Other bouncers tried to stop us from recording it. Overall, negative environment overrode how good the club probably usually is. I will never be returning here!…
