Neighborhood: Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.

Show was beautiful, but the staff of the theater left very unpleasant impression.
We had two tickets for the back rows, but when we arrived and wanted to go to our seats, their employee - a woman with a bandaged hand didn't let us to our seats. She said that these places are closed and put us on the other places in the center of the theatre. She pointed on the center to all women. After this, she began to fill in a row in front of us by very tall men. As a result, we have closed view of the scene. When we asked her to change our place, she was very rude with us, even though we had remained polite. In the end, we went to those places, which bought the tickets. Its weren't closed! It was a lie! Later, we noticed that many people gave a few euros to this employee for normal locations. So, it's the second way to earn money for some employees in this theater.

Wonderful theater! Very nice venue - smaller and much newer than the "old" theaters of Paris such as Chatelet and the Opera. My son is in Theater Class and as an extra credit project - we made a point of finding a play to see while visiting Paris. Knowing Spamalot - I thought what the heck, even if it is in French - we should still be able to follow the play - and we could! There are some scenes that are bound to make you laugh - whether you understand the language or not. The actors did a wonderful job. I would go to the Bobino again to see a production. It is very easy to get to - close to a Metro stop and easy to find. Refreshments are available. We initially had purchased a reduced rate ticket for our son - who was to sit close to the stage, while we were to be back from him and we managed to be seated together by the usher. Wonderful, smaller theater!

Loved the neighborhood and the show. The odd part was that the seating rows seemed to be slanting downwards away from the stage making it difficult to see past a row or two in front of you. We sat seven rows from the stage and I literally had to giraffe neck to see the stage and I’m almost 6 foot.

We went to a good show here. It's a big theater in the tradition of Paris' music halls. Historic, but it's been modernized. Great neighborhood for eating before or after the theater.

The place is old and falling apart. The row of seats we were sitting in had missing arm rests and was not fixed to the ground.

The seats are small and dirty.

Too bad that spoiled the show. We were so uncomfortable we could barely wait for the show to finish to leave.

Six dancers, all male, take you through a survey of classical and modern dance, rhythmic gymnastics and "dancing with the stars", and one of the hottest Tango performances I've ever seen.

We went there in november to see the Tutu dance performance by Chicos Mambo, which was very entertaining.
The theatre itself is nice when you arrive and seating is done very efficiently by nice ladies, who appeared to be surprised by a tip. We've seen different in Paris!
We attended the first of two shows that evening and had to leave via a side exit. That took a long wait and a maize of stairs and passageways. By far less glamourous than the main entrance.
