This park has his qualities. Nice vegetation, places to sit, nice walkways. And on the top a beautiful view of Paris

Just so relaxing to be able to walk amongst the gardens, plants, trees, and among others who are enjoying the environs. Wonderful views across the City from the top entrance / area of the Park.

Noted that the park wasn’t taking care of during this month. Ok no nature this time of year but it was dirty and looked forgotten. Unnecessary visit.

If you want to see Paris from a different point of view you have to climb to the top af the Park. This is Paris of the beaten path, we were the only visitors over here. Nice!

The Belleville area of the city, to the east of the Place de la Republique, is little known. We had intended to visit Pere Lachaise cemetery, but were side tracked. You could also be distracted by the fabulous food shops all down the Rue Pyrenées....More

After you've seen all the major parks, check this one out. It's very big and was meant to provide some green space to this workers' neighborhood. A big cascading fountain and incredible views of the city below.

Seems to be something for everyone, playgrounds for children, table tennis, friends gathering, people coming to paint or just enjoy the view. Had a very nice afternoon here.

Tourists always flock to the usual places in Paris. But forget Montmartre, its crowds and tourist traps. Go to Belleville in the East side of Paris. (Subway Belleville or Pyrénées). From rue de Belleville, turn on rue Piat and walk up to the Parc. You...More

Belleville / Pere Lachaise
At the eastern edge of Paris lies Belleville / Père
Lachaise, an understated wonderland of local
treasures. Alongside the world-famous cemetery,
family-owned delicatessens and cafés nestle between
local stores and establishments. The richness of the
population here has created a little Chinatown of
Asian restaurants, and the area comes to life at night
by a funky underground scene. Façades change from one
