My daughter and I did this exclusive perfume workshop - it was just the two of us - where we experimented with various oils and made our very own scents! It was great fun to experiment with these over a 1.5 hours.
We walked away with our very own perfume and had the option of purchasing a 2nd scent (we each created 3 of our own) to take back for an additional $20. (Euros).
We booked through Viator but check out her site directly at http://www.lestudioduparfum.fr/fr (appears to be cheaper if you book directly with her)!
Well worth it!

What a unique experience! This class was one of the most memorable gifts.
As someone who absolutely loves perfume and is fascinated by it, I enjoyed the one-on-one with Marina: learning about the basics of what goes into making a perfume, the various scent families and perfume types. The highlight, of course, was making my own signature scents! It was exciting to play with the recipe, adding more of what I love, keeping other notes more subtle. Marina was great with providing guidance along the way, but not interfering with my creation; making suggestions, without making you feel like an amateur that you are:)
Bottom line- unforgettable!

Experimenting on hundreds of scents was a fascinating workshop/tour offered by Le studio du Parfum held by Madame Mariana Jung. We contacted her directly to make reservations to the workshop and we found out that its more practical because we saved 40euros than making reservation with online tour operators in Paris and US. Highly recommended with A+

We Have booked this seminar 3 people and when we arrived to the place the hostess was not there, and the seminar was cancelled and no one have send me a cancellation notice before. I left a lot of messages to ABC but no response...i'm waiting to get refunded, it is rediculous not to get any response. This activity is trustless!

A friend and I booked a perfume class with Marina. The day before the class, she moved the time of the class from 10:30 to 10:00 without checking with us to see if we could make it. Consequently, we were a little late. She then informed us that she would have to leave after an hour. She hurried through the introduction, gave us a paper with the formulas for a few perfumes and told us to see what we liked. I was expecting information on the components of perfumes, the differences between different base scents, etc. But I left not knowing very much more than I did already about the composition and history of perfume. And when she made up the perfumes for us from our recipes, she didn't accurately follow what we had written and the result was a different smell than we had created.

To start with, we were 12 in the workshop! That was my very first disappointment as in a tiny room it is too much people and too much noise. I was on a table with 3 more people and we were sharing the same trolley of scents which made it difficult to find what you are looking for and combine it with other notes because someone else would immediately take it away from you. We were given a trolley of 30 or so notes and asked to chose what we want and make our owns! I was expecting some explanation about notes and combinations and preservation but unfortunately didn't get anything and when I asked the answer was " I don't want to guide you to a certain direction!" I didn't receive much guidance regarding the amount of notes I wanted to combine so I just added everything randomly to make my perfume. Overall you can by the notes from amazon and use google for information cause you won't receive anything "wooow" from this workshop but it can be a fun activity if you are just looking for an activity and not expertise.

Marina made our girls afternoon a real French experience teaching us how to make our very Paris scents! It was very relaxing as we concocted our own personal perfumes under Marina's guidance listening to french music! A very memorable afternoon!

I attended this two hour workshop with my teenage daughter. It was easy to get there on the metro with a short walk downhill. We were met at the door by a stunning Parisian woman, dressed beautifully, and as elegant as she could possibly be. Her apartment is something else. It's light and beautiful and quite breathtaking. The workshop was very informative and a lot of fun. My daughter and I produced totally different perfumes but we are both thrilled with the end result. It was a lovely break from sight seeing and shopping and we both enjoyed it a lot. Do it if you have time!

My teenage daughter and I booked this class for our trip to Paris. After spending time sightseeing, if was great to spend a couple of hours sitting learning about fragrances. Mariana was very knowledgeable and it was fun dabbling in many variations of scents. I made 1 sample of perfume for myself, 1 for my 15 year old son and 1 for my 17 year old son. It is amazing how many variations can be made by simply adding 1 or 2 drops more. My daughter and I had a fun afternoon and we loved the perfume we made. Would recommend this class highly.

The operator did not turn up for our workshop. When we called her she was extremely rude and said she was busy in a meeting. We received no apology for the inconvenience. Extremely disappointing.
