This bridge is located just behind Notre Dame, being another connection between the Île de la Cité people and the Latin Quarter. Very famous years ago for being looked for by the couples in love who put padlocks in the metallic protections of the bridge....More

The Pont de l’Archeveche is another of the bridges to the Ile de Cite and providing access to the Notre Dame. This is another example of a nice bridge in Paris of which there are plenty around this area.

One of the bridges connecting the left bank to the Ile de la Cite - one of the natural islands on the river Seine home to the Cathedral de Notre Dame. The bridge is close to the Cathedral and offers views over its back.

Pont de l'Archeveche gives you THE best view of Notre Dame, short of the left bank entrance to this bridge.

It's a bridge. I have walked across it, seen it from the top of nearby Norte dame, and been under it in a boat. It has never stood out as anything other the a bridge.

Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very
heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité,
sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of
Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the
site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held
before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic
Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the
Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island,

It should be there although from time to time they need to take some locks down as they get too heavy but I am sure it will be out on display!

Cite would be the closest metro -- you need to walk past the Notre Dame on Ile-de-la-Cite to reach this bridge-- can't miss it as it is full of locks!
