Wanted some snacks to take back to our hotel so elided to hit the food market. The cheeses on offer were mid blowing. Lots of venders are happy to let you try before you buy which is a nice touch. We sent far too much and couldn't eat it all as usual but what an experience. Loved it

The market was BR our B&b, so walking over was easy... But it's also by 2 metro stops. We did some shopping for cheese & bread & meats to stick our fridge. Such great choices! Then, a little lunch. What to choose? Moroccan, Breton crepes & cider, chicken & salads? We all had what we wanted & finished off with... More

If you only get to one open-air market in Paris, make it this one - it is on Thursdays and Sundays and is a pandemonium of colour, tastes and smells! - one of my favourite days on holiday in Paris! It is a big market and the stalls stock everything from Roquefort cheese to chorizo sausage to cymbidium orchids -... More

Stumbled upon this market and in my excitement , bought heaps of fruit and vege which is great but I was far from my apartment. By the time I got home, all the fruit had rubbed against each other and were mushy. But if you live close, go and have a look, it goes for ages, which some clothes and... More

Great market, very nice food at good prices. It was not to crowed and it everything looked beautiful and traditional, I got some cheese, milk (my favorite purchase), cold meat, burguers, olives, greens, in brief, a little bit of everything and I wasnt dissapointed by any.

A short Metro ride to this station and you are in the middle of a local market. Had some great eats, picked up a few souvenirs (they are much less expensive here than near the 'sights') and you are right on the edge of the Marais, another great section of Paris to get lost in.

I visited this market on Thursday, the regular market day, and on Saturday when it's a handcrafted market. Selection is bigger on Thursdays and includes produce, meat/fish, premade food, and household goods/clothing. I didn't buy any food, but it looked amazing and had good prices posted when compared to my neighborhood bodega style shops. There were souvenir items, clothing, jewelry,... More

Wonderful Market. So many different items. Had a great time looking through. Meats, even horse meat available. Fresh fruits, veggies, beans, olives, cheeses.

There are many things available at the market, from food to non-food items. In general, souvenirs are lower in prices at this market. We bought food to have eat-in lunch at the nearby apartment that we were staying. No complaints on the roast chicken, grilled potatoes and paella. In addition, the fruits are very fresh and much cheaper here. There... More

According to my family-including two 10 year old children, this has been our best day in Paris. It made us feel as if we were really in Oaris, not just visiting the tourist attractions! We went on Sunday morning, and my children gp have requested this as a second trip on Thursday! Hearing the shouts of the vendors, seeing all... More
