THATLou runs themed Treasure Hunts at the Louvre (what it stands for) for family travel & the general public. It gives you an overview of the world's greatest museum, getting you to corners you wouldn't otherwise go, making your visit FUN & focused. It's both educational + adrenalin-pumping, but you don't need to know a thing about art prior to the game! Also have THATRue (streets) + THATd'Or (Musee d'Orsay)

We spent great time at the louvre and it took away the overwhelming feeling when you are in such place as its like planning your visit and target the most popular piece of arts inside . Recommended especial when you visit with young children .

We did a hunt at the Louvre through ThatLou and loved it! It was the perfect introduction to the Louvre for our children ages 6 and 10. The information and instructions were very well organized and we were set up to play against one other family with children of similar ages. The friendly competition made it really fun for the... Don't hesitate to get this treasure hunt booked up. I took my 2 children (aged 9 & 4) away to Paris to fill in some time during the summer holidays whilst Daddy was at work and The Louvre visit was a complete success thanks to THATLou. We spent around 3 hours there and had only seen maybe a quarter of... More

My three eternally-bored-at-art-museum kids had an amazing time on the THATLou treasure hunt last week at the Louvre (we did the Beauty and the Beastiary tour)! By way of comparison, the week before I had to drag them to visit approximately three things in the (wonderful, amazing) Prado (with a lot of complaining from my two 9 year olds)! But... More

I found this on another bloggers site and thought it would be a good way for my 3 boys, ages 12, 10, and 7, to experience the Louvre. We chose the Beast Hunt and were told no one else would be hunting with us. At the last minute, another family from CA w/ 2 boys the same ages as our... More

I was travelling with my extended family (two kids - one who is 8 and the other is 15) to Paris and Italy. I had no idea how to make museum hopping (to two of my favourite museums, the Louvre and the Musee d'Orsay) fun - till I saw THATLou and THATDor. It was great fun - we didn't make... More

We were an eager & competitive team of three on this public hunt ... Lots of fun & teamwork. Daisy gave us lots of strategy tips. We know where to find the works of sculptors, Pigalle and Houdon! We liked searching for labels, objects & the details! Daisy always has a #THATMuseQuiz with prizes at the end of a public... More

Enjoyed seeing the big items of the Louvre in a fun way with the kids. Highly recommended if you would like to see masterpieces, but your kids dislike the museum-thing. We did ours vs another family and it made it fun. Strategy: start with some big, easy items and make sure your are on the right floor (they're a little... More

This was such a great experience! We met The coordinator in front of the Louvre. She gave us a quick explanation of the museum map, explained a little history of the place, gave us the simple rules of the scavenger hunt and we were off!! You can decide how long you want to do it for. We split up into... More

We are in Paris with our three boys ages 12,11,9 to see the Euro Soccer Tournament. As you can imagine with three boys that age who are very sport centric, museums are not their forte. With that in mind we decided to try to make it a competition by using THATLou. Mission accomplished. After meeting our guide who was very... More
