THATLou runs themed Treasure Hunts at the Louvre (what it stands for) for family travel & the general public. It gives you an overview of the world's greatest museum, getting you to corners you wouldn't otherwise go, making your visit FUN & focused. It's both educational + adrenalin-pumping, but you don't need to know a thing about art prior to the game! Also have THATRue (streets) + THATd'Or (Musee d'Orsay)

We were an eager & competitive team of three on this public hunt ... Lots of fun & teamwork. Daisy gave us lots of strategy tips. We know where to find the works of sculptors, Pigalle and Houdon! We liked searching for labels, objects & the details! Daisy always has a #THATMuseQuiz with prizes at the end of a public... More

Enjoyed seeing the big items of the Louvre in a fun way with the kids. Highly recommended if you would like to see masterpieces, but your kids dislike the museum-thing. We did ours vs another family and it made it fun. Strategy: start with some big, easy items and make sure your are on the right floor (they're a little... More

This was such a great experience! We met The coordinator in front of the Louvre. She gave us a quick explanation of the museum map, explained a little history of the place, gave us the simple rules of the scavenger hunt and we were off!! You can decide how long you want to do it for. We split up into... More

We are in Paris with our three boys ages 12,11,9 to see the Euro Soccer Tournament. As you can imagine with three boys that age who are very sport centric, museums are not their forte. With that in mind we decided to try to make it a competition by using THATLou. Mission accomplished. After meeting our guide who was very... More

I booked this scavenger hunt on the recommendation of a friend. Her family loved it. Daisy from ThatLou was great and very helpful. She gets you in the museum and explains the layout and concept very well. The hunt is well thought out and the clues reflect a lot of effort. You can also learn something. The hunt itself is... I recently organised a trip to Paris for a friend's stag do and on one of the days during our visit we did the ThatLou treasure hunt. There was 11 of us in total and each of us found it a really great idea and a very fun, competitive challenge. Daisy was very helpful in organising the details of our... More

The Louvre is BIG, BUSY, and CROWDED, and could easily lead to disengaged and whiny kids (certainly for us). The THATLou team completely turned this around for us - our kids were pulling us from one famous work of art to another, pointing out great features in the art along the way. Our 9 year old twins loved the competition... More

We went to the Louvre while on our honeymoon and Thatlou made our visit great! They provide a lot of information on the pieces you're looking for and we enjoyed having some direction to our visit - it would be easy to get lost there! We did a private hunt with no competitors and still found it a lot of... More

Planned a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Paris to celebrate my daughter's 10th birthday. Tried to work with ThatLou to book a scavenger hunt at the Louvre. After a considerable amount of back-and-forth and a series of delayed e-mail responses, they were unable to accommodate, leaving my high-and-dry two days before our trip. Turns out it worked to my benefit. After some... More
