I guess my mistake was to visit the first Thursday in August. There were maybe 10 vendors in the entire market. I'm not exaggerating. I was very disappointed. I didn't realize that markets shut down in August or virtually do. At least this one did....More

You can find just about everything here from undies to umbrellas. Everything is beautifully presented, always seasonal and the prices are good. It doesn't hurt to have a view of the Eiffel either. I speak very little French but "Bon Jour" with my NY accent...More
I love this street market but it is very much quieter in August than it is during the winter months when I previously visited.
However at any time a market with a view of the Eiffel Tower can't be bad.
