Wow this place is so cool, especially when heading toward the Eiffel Tower from the Trocadéro Metro station. The two curving Neo-Classical building face the Eiffel tower and after taking the stairs down from the plaza you will see the graceful Trocadéro Fountains. We didn't go into the buildings, due to time. Both buildings house museums and their beautiful facades... More

I felt good standing/visiting in this place of much history including being a feature of the 1937 World's Fair, a place where the evil Hitler stood, first NATO headquarters, and now several museums (which I didn't visit, not time!)

It is on the top of Trocadero you Have an amazing view from up there to the Eiffel tower and the Trocadero garden underneath .the Palais Chaillot itself is beautiful and huge , but depends what is showing, we saw the Light Bird and we didn't really liked it.

This building has a history and is among the largest concert hall in Paris. It has been managed by several good theater stars (Theatre National Populaire, Jean Vilar, George Wilson, Antoine Vitez, Jérome Savary). It helped introduce theater creations to lower income families. There are of lot of shows throughout the year. The view of the Trocadero gardens and of... More

The views from this place are unique and spectacular, a great place to take pictures and the view of the Eifel tower is very impressive. The fountains are also spectacular. If you can, you should also visit at night. The fountains and the Eifel tower are lit up for spectacular pictures.

Across the Seine River From Eiffel Tower stands the magnificent Palais de Chaillot which is home to several museums ). As you walk up from the river you enter the Trocadéro garden with its magnificent fountain with a range of powerful water cannon creating a changing display. The display is worth a visit in its own right. Going up the... More

From Eiffel Tower , across the Seine River stands the magnificent Palais de Chaillot (it is the home of several museums ). At the front is Trocadéro garden , with stone sculptures and very nicely designed maintained fountains. From Palais de Chaillot you can have picture perfect photos of the Eiffel Tower. My visit to the Palais de Chaillot was very brief but definitely a memorable experience for me. I had come to the Trocadero specifically because I heard it was the best place to take pictures of the Eiffel Tower in its entirety and wow, was it! It was raining (not hard but substantially enough to get quite damp) and in... More

Great view of the tower, clean and tidy. Annoyingly lots of people trying to sell Eiffel towers, five for one euro... Grates after a while. Fountains were well maintained.

Neighborhood Profile
This is the neighborhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendor, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
