I was there several times for the French clubbing nights on Saturday, and I always had a good time.
The music is good (if you like French music of course), the place is nice, it is in an old theatre and you can also access the balcony.
Prices are reasonable, even not expensive compared to other nightclubs in Paris.
I recommend!

Visiting Paris ? Check out the calendar of this venue on their website - and pick the performance of your choice. There is a wide variety of acts favoring this old theater when they pass through Paris. I estimate the maximum capacity at 450 people - so a really intimate experience. Two negative issues to mention... AC does not seem to be present - so dress the part. Second: during the performance of Trixie Whitley (June 27th) the sound system picked up and amplified some mobile phone signals - disrupting the performance.

Went to Le Divan du Monde for a gig. I had read reviews after booking tickets saying negative things about staff and security and I was a bit concerned that I had made a mistake in doing so. This could not have been further from the truth . Door staff were really friendly and helpful (despite our visit being only two days after the anniversary of the Bataclan attack). Staff in the venue were also chatty and welcoming. Only thing to watch out for...the toilets...ladies, they are not designed for us! Only one toilet and you need to walk through a bank of urinals before you get to it. The gig itself was brilliant and the whole experience was very positive...we had a great time!

I live in Montmartre and went so long without visiting this club because I just didn't know about it. I've spent many nights in Montmartre, in Irish bars or the typical tourist dross, but this place is a lovely location, cheap entry (€5 when I went on a Saturday - bargain!) - the drinks aren't cheap but as good as you can expect in a Paris nightclub. Very few tourists in here, it is a real Parisian haunt. I was lucky enough to meet some Parisians on a night out who invited us along and I'm so glad they did. Saturday night is Indie Disco night and is great fun. The rest of the week they have different themed nights which I have yet to sample but I have been two Saturdays in a row to the Indie Disco and it pulls a good, fun crowd. Highly recommended for the 18eme - avoid the Irish bars between Place de Clichy and Blanche on the weekends (the entry there is usually €15) and head over to Divan, it is divine.

The average club inside does not justified the entrance fee, the queue and the streee/violenceof the door guys. Paris is big enough to find nicer places, even in the same district...

I did visit Tony Macalpine's concert in Paris. Venue is in the centre of Montmartre . Atmosphere is great . They kept the old atmosphere . It looks beautiful !
It is a smaller sized venue , I'd say up to 500 people attending .
Sound quality was very good . Excellent sound .
Staff was very professional and friendly .
I'd surely be back if I have the chance to see another great concert there .
Parking is impossible on the streets . You'll have to find a parking garage .

Nothing good about this experience. Very rude staff, as usual. Place not great. Would not spend any money on this place...

Went to Divan du Monde to attend a concert early July 2015. Temperature was up to 38C that day. Staff made sure that the bar would be open for people to be able to rehydrate and also gave out bottles of water to the people in front of the stage or who could not access the bar. A/C was on full blast but being about 400 there and with spotlights and all, it was not sufficient. Which is why all of the above mentioned attention was greatly appreciated.
I'll gladly come back for future events.

First of all the Orphaned Land were amazing but the whole organization was bad... It was raining and they wouldn't let us in, the doors opened later that they should, the bouncer was rude but that is common everywhere. The place it self is nice, shame it took them so long to set and start the show especially between bands.
