Good: it was pretty easy to catch a UBER for the ride home. Bad: the cocktails weren't mixed properly (too much alcohol or next to none), the "DJ" was a Youtube music mix video playing (you know, the ones made by hobby DJs at home), it was super warm as well. A friend reserved part of the club for his... More

Nice place, great atmosphere, very friendly people. I strongly recommend this place for a drink with some friends or even for a party. Besides it is located in a charming area of Paris nearby the Pont Neuf. Eventually, the music is awesome.

Had an absolutely great time, loved the live music and danced the night away with friends. Would definitely go back again!

Visited this great bar twice after a recommendation of a friend. I will defiantly visit again next time I am in Paris! Friendly staff (and door man, who even helped us hail a taxi!!), live music and cool laid back atmosphere!! Arrive early to get a good spot as it can get busy on the weekends!

Don't bother with the crowded ground floor bar, go straight through and down to the basement which is a really good live music venue and bar - with better beer than upstairs. Generally the format seems to be an amateur student band first which brings in a young crowd, not the usual Saint-Germain-des-Prés set, then a professional band, usual rock,... More

Waited an eternity for a VERY rude barman to finally acknowledge us in an empty bar (he was on the phone for a good 5 minutes) when we werefinally served it took another 5 minutes before he made or drinks as drinking his expresso appeared to be more important!! AVOID!!

This is a great concert bar, I am a regular customer! The staff is very friendly (maybe because they are used to see me as well ;-) and do speak English! I met a lot of foreign people there! There are group of music playing every night, most of them are playing Rock...And at around 1am there is a DJ... More

I love this particular bar. Simply put, it has a great ambience, drinks are reasonable, the bar staff is nice (and don't get frustrated when your French leaves a bit to be desired...), and the music is...groovy (for lack of any other word, really). As the name suggests, the main part of the bar is in the basement. So, there... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
