What a day of fulfilled knowledge of Paris and the roles the American Negroes contributed to Paris and surrounding Villages. Things i learned was never shared in my classroom of history. Learning and shown the Sankofa markings on the iron gates around the city to the stories of Neapolitan race relations with Dumas, the rich classical music composer of African... More

This was my 4th visit to the beautiful city of Paris and my only regret is that I had not known about this fantastic tour on my first visit because all of my experiences would have been so much richer. The info shared was mind-boggling and the hidden treasures that were revealed allowed us to gain an even deeper understanding... More

This was an EXCELLENT personalized tour highlighting many forgotten facts about Paris' rich past. Ricki is so well informed, and shared her wisdom with us. Our small group tour was well organized and insightful into the rich history of Paris from an African and African-American perspective. We truly enjoyed every aspect, including mingling with the Parisians their shops and busses/metro... More

I definitely would recommend this tour. I chose the full day tour, and it was amazing. First, you get so much valuable information before your tour, such as how to get around the city, places to eat..etc. There is so much information that Ricki shares, it is absolutely wonderful. She is very knowledgeable about the city and history. You can... More

I had the pleasure of touring Paris for the very first time from the U.S (Maryland) with my husband and 8 year old son. Nawo our Black Paris tour guide was especially accommodating and flexible. I was a little concerned about completing the full day tour with a child, but Nawo was interesting, informative, and simply put, a blessing! We... More

Mrs.Stevenson holds a vast wealth of knowledge about Black Americans and Paris. She is an amazing guide. Her tours are intimate and enjoyable. I enjoyed a full day tour of Paris. We strolled down the Champs Elysee and saw the haunts of the legendary Josephine Baker, visited the theater where Jimmy Europe and the 369th Infantry band performed and heard... More

Bonjour Mesdames et messieurs, Last week, my friend and I journeyed through the Paris streets during the rain and rising waters in the Seine River that interrupted our river boat tour. As depressing as that was, I can say my enthusiasm and expectations for the Black Paris Tour were pleasantly surpassed. We were not going to let rain or bad... More

My prayers are with you in Paris right now. Had a WONDERFUL experience last month in Paris--thanks to Black Paris Tours & Ricki Stevenson. Traveling & visiting historic places is wonderful, but it is the human element that makes the glue that brings the experience to its peak. The tour was extremely educational. Ms. Stevenson was extremely knowledgable of the history of black americans coming to Paris. As someone who has been learning a lot about the great black artists who worked and lived in Paris, I found the additional information and the walking tour of the city fascinating. Personally, I was in paris for two weeks and... More

Ricki Stevenson's Black Paris Tours provided an astonishing tour of Paris, black Paris in particular.
