I recently went on a Flavors of Paris tour with Lisa, and greatly enjoyed the experience. We started out by the Saint Germaine church, where she gave some interesting facts about the area, the restaurants nearby, and much more. She was friendly, calm, and knowledgeable and I was surprised by how much I learned on this tour! Now - let's... More

I did not expect to discover Paris through a food guided tour but I ended up delighted ! Lisa taught us how French people are used to eat and various stories about French culture. Along with historical food-related explanations, we walk throughout the Saint-Germain des Prés district. Between sweet speciality pâtisseries, Provence products and wine & cheese taste tray of... I've been so busy with University exams but I promised I'd write a review...so here goes! My family surprised me with a trip to Paris for my 21st Birthday at the beginning of March 2016 and part of my present was the 'Flavors of Paris' walking tour with Lisa. Lisa is a lovely Canadian lady who was able to accommodate... More

Even with two families (including 5 kids ages 8-15), Lisa was an excellent and professional tour guide. She was able to accommodate our large party while teaching us about the local neighborhood, Parisian food, and special locations along the way. I would highly recommend her tour to anyone visiting Paris!

My wife and I loved the tour. Lisa is a blast to walk around with and every spot was so unique and delicious. The shop owners are lovely and seemed like they were having fun as well. Definitely try this tour!

My husband and I showed up at the meeting point early and waited and waited and waited. Come to find out she had changed the tour from 10am to 2pm and failed to tell us. She did attempt to remedy this by having us join the tour at 2, but our time was limited and we had already wasted an... More

Bonjour: I must apologize again for the miscommunication we had on our part. We had a scheduling oops, and as we are human sometimes things can happen. We tried to put your refund through earlier but the site that does the processing was down for maintenance when we tried. We really want to make Paris and it's delicious flavors a... More

My friend and I did the Flavors of Paris Walking Tour with Lisa on a Thursday morning at the end of May. We both enjoyed tasting our way through the Saint-Germain-des-Pres neighborhood. There was a nice variety of stops - a boulangerie, food shops, a chocolatier, wine and cheese from a market - with tastes and samples along the way.... More

My friend and I were lucky to be the only two on the tour with Lisa and it was amazing! I really wish we had done this tour earlier in our trip rather than the last day because she gave us so much information on other places to eat and a lot of interesting historical facts. We visited a bakery,... More

Easy walking, in a charming neighborhood. Lisa is a wealth of information. We bought all sorts of small food items and gifted our family and friends when we returned home. We tasted a large amount of food, so do not eat before you meet up with Lisa!

This was not our first trip to Paris, but I really want to know the St. Germain area better. This was billed as a food and walking tour, and the pictures looked amazing. Lisa first brought us to Eric Kayser, which was a little disappointing. Great quality, but they’re everywhere in Paris. Kind of like being on a coffee tour... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
