This little covered passage is full of South Asian restaurants. They all have similar menus. The food can be quite good, and it is nice to sit out in the passage for dinner. Evidence that Paris is an immigrant city.

Alleyway that runs a few blocks through Paris with many Indian restaurants and nice little shops. Recommend if you are nearby!

Brady Passage is a great place for people watching and some great Indian food. Very affordable especially compared with other resturants in Paris.

We recently stayed in the 10th and during our visit made our way towards Passage Brady. We were unsure what to expect, but it was all positive.

We ordered chicken curry with rice and the plates were loaded, to the point that one serving would have served 2. Along with our meal we had a carafe of water, so in total we spent €10!

Worth a visit, especially if staying locally to Passage Brady.

When entering this passage you forget that you're in Paris and can easily imagine yourself in a town in India.

The colours and smells coming from the restaurants and shops tell you stories about Madras and Maharadjas.......about tandoori and vindaloo.

Enjoy it, but choose your restaurant wisely as not all is what it seems.

My brother and I was just strolling in Paris when Passage Brady suddenly appeared - My brother who has lived in India was happy, I who love shopping for food with different tasts was happy.

We really enjoyed the walk - and got some nice (and cheap) indian groceries, the lady in the store was so nice. Later that day we went back to dine and loved the indian food. Besides for the competative voices that all wanted us in their restaurant it was all good.

I want to add - we didn't expect anything - so it was just a lovely surprise that day :)
So don't make it the happening of the day - but for sure - pass by!

This place has seen better days but it is charming and an interesting way to find Indian restaurants and shops all in one place. The restaurant we tried, the Pondichery, was good but not excellent as we expected. If we go back, we will try the Yasmin. There are quite a few alleyways in Paris, all unique.

I came here for the first time in 2011 because I was staying with a friend who lived in one of the buildings there, and we ended up having a big group meal at one of the restaurants below. I absolutely loved this area of Paris and the passage was so unique to me, as it is literally an ethnic and cultural enclave, aka "Little India". The food we had here was delicious, and for those who love to just sit down and observe a city's social complexities and richness, this is worth visiting. Definitely not touristy though, but that's why it is more of a gem :)

One has to run the gauntlet of touts urging and promising plenty to eat at their restaurants. What is promised doesn't measure up and I wouldn't bother going again. It was dingy and prefer La Chappel, where besides excellent meals, you can grocery shop and also find delicious Indian sweets in a nearby street.

The eternal student vagabond in me is always looking for good deals.....so every once in a while in Paris I head to the Passage Brady for a taste of curry and a cheap meal.

Passage Brady is where a small cluster of lowcost Indo=Pakistani eateries do their thing. Quality ranges from adequate to good, prices are rock bottom.

On Sunday I had lunch at the New Delhi restaurant, on the sunny end of Passage Brady, across the street from the covered portion. Cost for a lunch plate of tandoori chicken, 2 veggies, cheese nan, and rice was 7 euros. The food was tasty, and like the other clients (the terrace tables were full) I enjoyed eating out of doors.

A note for diehard bottom-fishers: There are some other very inexpensive Pakistani lunchcounter restaurants on the street from Gare de l' Est to Gare du Nord, with a largely immigrant clientele.
