The simple idea of writing the world's most romantic phrase in many languages was implemented by calligrapher Federico Baron and fresco artist Claire Quito in 2000. the inscriptions are written in Braille. I'm surprised it didn't occur to me sooner. The phrase "I love you" is written 311 times in 250 languages and dialects! The inscriptions are also written in Braille. Wall 40 sqm composed of 612 tiles of enamelled lava. What a pity that there are still many languages left, and the wall is already over. 7117 languages exist in the world at the moment. However, some tourists add a white marker or putty phrase in the missing languages.

Our friends were very charmed by this wall of expressions of "I love you" and the little Rita Hayworth art up on top.. It's charming and set in a little park in a lovely part of town. Worth a visit and then go have a drink at a cafe.

The"i love you" wall with all the different languages from all around the world which is situated in lovely small quaint Park in Montmartre. Very nice and it would be romantic I'd imagine to visit with a significant other.
I was there with my daughter and we spotted "Taim I ngra leat"(the Irish I love you) from our country.

A cute little garden and a wall with the words “I love you” in different languages. This spot is very popular among couples, and I would say it’s a nice place for Instagram pictures. However, be ready that it can be really crowded.
I would advise to buy a croissant nearby and spend some time in this garden just relaxing or reading a book. It’s also close to Sacre Coeur, so you can visit these 2 places easily.

A wall with 'I love you' written in multiple languages. Was quite fun to try and decipher which languages were written. Popular with the selfie squad. Nothing remarkable but was nice to mark it off the sights and landmarks list. Square Jean Richtus, where the wall is located, is a small green space with a few benches, nice little rest stop.

How can you not love a wall of love? Such a cool piece of art with a message we should all take to heart. The phrase 'I love you' is featured 311 times in 250 languages....all the major one and even more obscure languages like Navajo. We found the English version and then looked for all the languages we knew. Located right by Abbesses Metro Station, the area is in a shaded little park. It is free to the public and a great spot for a photo.

A romantic park with a great art installation.
Grab a pastry from one of the many excellent bakeries in the area and enjoy a nice park and maybe some live music.
Worth checking out if you are in the area.

"Ek het jou lief", "Mi pewo", "Assavakkit", "Nimitztlazotla", "Volim te", "Te quiero"... and hundreds more of "I love you" versions in almost every known written language. This is a special place in Paris, at the Rictus Square in Monmartre, just across the beautiful church of Saint Jean. It reminds everyone that love is common to the whole humanity, and it can be expressed in so many ways. It’s real name is Mur de l’amour (Wall of Love) which rhymes well in French, but is listed here as “Wall of I Love You”. A great walk on a sunny spring day.

There is a version for each one. Just go to Metro Abbesses, and enter the garden nearby. Take your wife, girlfriend, or lover with you. But remember: Public gardens have closing hours.

" I love You" wall. This is a wonderful place to visit when you're in Montmartre, you can sit on a bench near the wall and just look at this simple art that tells you big words " I love you" in all languages; try to find yours :). It's near the Abbesses place.

15 minutes is enough. Long enough to get a photo depending on how many other tourists are there at the time.
