The Comedie Francaise has been around since the 17th .century. It is a state-subsided theatrical troupe. The repertoire is focused on the classics. If your French is not good, don't expect to understand very much. The Comedie Francaise is ;located in downtown Paris.

The Comédie-Française is a gem in France’s cultural crown. Its plays are of the highest quality and the visite historique is a 2-hour walk through its fascinating history. A must-see for those interested in theatre and French cultural history.

This is a beautiful and classic theater, a piece of historic architecture. Come and see a performance (classic French theater pieces) and enjoy the theater design as well. Nice gift store inside.
