I cannot go to Paris without passing by La Grande Epicerie. Of course some things are way expensive there, but you can also find affordable items. They have the most exclusive things I have ever seen. Best grocery store ever.

To a foodie, this place is heaven on earth. I recommend going to create a picnic as you visit each part of the store. There is an amazing Foie Gras created by the gentelman in the store... we could not resist. The cheese selection is magnificent. The terrine du canard was our favorite. Hit the meat and sausage counter for... More

Wonderful range of stuff. Loved the Amelie oyster counter. This supermarket is part of Posh Le Bon Marche department store which is in the building next door.

The choice and quality of food is incredible. That combined with the pop up eating stations around the shop are fantastic and offer some of the best food in the city. Highly reccomended for high quality food gifts, products on a lunch during busy day shopping!

IMO, La Grande Epicerie is FAR more impressive than its Bon Marche counterpart. Beautifully displayed foods and liquor, in a stunning venue. Even if you don't buy anything, I'd suggest stopping in for a look. Prices are slightly higher than other Parisian supermarkets, but you're paying a premium for the incredible setting.

Well worth going here if you want to check out all different French foods. It's multiple levels and has the feel of a high end department store. I purchased a couple of things just because they caught my eye (rose flavored marshmallow!?).

They had just renovated the food emporium at Bon Marche a couple of years ago and they have now done another remodel. I find the new set up less inviting. The same products are there - more or less - but it seems very sterile. Plus there used to be a very enticing pastry shop as you enter the store.... More

Located in La Bonne Marche Department store, features a mind blowing array of food and drink, from a to z, magnificently displayed! Store is so clean and bright! Expensive, but incredible. You want to try everything you see, even if you know from experience that you don't like it. I could not pass up a fav, the Serrano ham sandwich... More
