Stopped here per a suggestion by our tour guide-and we were not disappointed! Only had about an hour to shop before they closed and found that was enough time to explore about 1/3 of a floor! You could spend at least a good 12+ hours here if you wanted to give it a good go-over since there are 4 floors... More

This is the food and wine department of Bonne Marche, Paris' equivalent to Harrods (in my estimation). La Grande Epicerie is beautifully laid out with luscious French delicacies of all description on the ground level, with the basement level being an enormous wine cellar. There are several casual and formal dining areas in the shop and links to the main... More

This is the mecca of food markets! If you're kind of a foodie, like me, you will be amazed and taken aback at the sheer volume and quality of food that's here. We ended up buying a few Macarons from the dessert counter and they were incredible. If we had more time in the city, I would have purchased quite... More

I read the reviews on TripAdvisor and wanted to visit this place. It is a 4 level store. The bottom level has wine, the main level has all kinds of food, and the other two levels have home goods. I basically stayed on the main level. While there are many items that would not be for travelers (meet, fish, etc),... More

We stumbled across the Grand Epicerie quite by accident, of course we would have visited if we had known it was there. What an absolute delight ,especially if you are a foodie, we spent hours just walking around looking at all the different food items. Naturally we couldn't buy too much as we were travelling, but we could still look... More

A lovely up market food hall plus more. Huge variety of cheeses, meats, wines, seafood, pastries and general merchandise. Due to us travelling with no cooking facilities we couldn't buy anything much and also have limited suitcase space. If we did, we would have gone crazy here. I did manage to try an eclair and was perhaps the best one... More

If you are obsessed with fine food and cooking like I am, you MUST plan a visit to La Grande Epicerie while in Paris. The ground floor food hall is almost unbelievable - from the dozens of types of butter to the gorgeous displays of fresh produce to the various food counters (fromagerie, boucherie, boulangerie, etc.). Want some wine? The... More

Came here on the recommendation of my parents as part of my chocolate hunt throughout Paris. Tons of options for chocolate and everything else you can think of. They have their own brands and many others.

A food lovers destination in Paris, this is a veritable Disneyland of all the fantastic French and predominantly Mediterranean foods and drinks. Great place for unique gifts and too fill your suitcase with delicacies.

Before anything else..the hot chocolate at the restaurant on level one is a MUST try!! When the French say chocolate..they mean pure business !! It's practically melted chocolate !..as far as the grocery part is concerned..it's a haven for food lovers. Since it is more expensive than regular stores..it would be advisable to buy stuff that we wouldn't generally get... More
