Ever been to a Walmart in the US? That place is overwhelming, Le Grande Epicerie on the other hand is an emporium of fine food and fresh produce, I have never seen a more beautiful supermarket. To compare, the supermarket in Galeries Lafayette is meh. I had a list of things to buy: foie gras, salt, oil, saucisson, cheese, dijon... More

We went here after an internet search for a good place to buy fleur de sel. When we walked in, I was amazed. I have been to Paris several times and love food and food- related shops but didn't know about this place. We were here with our teenage grandson, so didn't spend as much time as I would have... Walked though here recently - it is fantastic! So many wonderful foods and beautiful fresh veggies and fruit! We tried to eat lunch at the upstairs sit down restaurant but the line was too long. Must be good! Beautiful store.

A large place with the most delicious french foods. There are also many objects for kitchen, decorations and books of receipt. The price of the epicerie is not cheap. But the boulangerie is amazing and cheaper.

This is an amazing food store with all different kinds of dishes and fresh produce. There is a whole range of meals to eat. From pasta, curries, sandwiches, cheese, meats, sweets. It has everything you could possibly want and presented fantastically. If this was near my work I would spend lunch here everyday. But then again I would probably end... More

This is not even a store, it is a must stop attraction/icon on your Parisian tour. Three floors of fine foods is french culture at its finest appreciating gastronomy. Once, I bought a bunch of stuff here with friends and we made a picnic under the Eiffel tower. The financier is to die for. All the cheeses and yogurts imaginable.... More

Let’s face it, the French (including waiters) can be extremely haughty and appear to be disinterested, but that come with the territory and must be tolerated at lunch. La Table serves great, contemporary Parisian lunch fare. It is located in great space in the very fancy Bon Marche department store on the Left Bank over the spectacular food department. We... More

It has been a few years since I have visited this paradise for food lovers. With its own bakery, fresh fish area, meat department, sushi area, wine selection, gorgeous produce, condiments you haven't even thought of, food from almost every country you could think of, and on and on, I could have spent several hours wandering and drooling. As it... More

Lots to see, smell, sample here. A food destination of overwhelming choices. Sort of like Harrods gourmet section. A bit more than Etaly locations as I recall. Located across Rue du Bac from the main Bonne Marche store.
