You do have to consider that many of the roads are cobble stone so there will be a fair amount of shaking. The bikes are electric so minimal effort to ride them. Personally if my wife was pregnant probably wouldn’t do it but... More

I’d say it depends on them. Most of it is safe but there are some parts where we are among other cars in traffic, if they are used to that sort of thing then I’d say yes. It’s just a small part of the tour though.
