Lovely bridge
Oct 2019
Lovely bridge across the Seine River, with a bit of history. It started operating in 1814 and was built to commemorate one of Napoleon's victories, after which it was named. It links the Eiffel Tower with the Trocadero Gardens on opposite sides of the river. It is also across from the military school, the Ecole Militaire. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

The Pont d’lena is a huge bridge across River Seine and connects the Eiffel Tower to Trocadero Gardens. Many souvenir paddlers display their gifts by bridge side. You can take nice photos of ferry boats cruising on the river.

Very popular bridge
Dec 2019
This bridge is the closest one to Eiffel tower on its west end connecting it with Trocadero. Therefore it's occupied with tourists taking great pics and selfies from there.
Excellent close ups can be taken from here, as well the sunset pics you can see.

Between Trocadero and the Eiffel Tower
Oct 2019 • Couples
For us, this was a functional bridge-we used it to cross the river at least twice- always from the Eiffel Tower, so for me- a lot of Rome spent looking back (and up).

It wasn’t such a pleasant experience because it was dark and crowded and some construction on the pedestrian walkway and worst of all/ those migrants who spread their wares of little trinkets all over the sidewalk pathways and just about block your passage and then try to sell you stuff.

19th Century Paris
Apr 2019
This is a very grand bridge that is a part of 19th Century Paris, central to a couple of the international expositions. It connects the Trocadero to the Tour Eiffel area and thus provides stunning views. I've strolled across it many times and never get tired of the sights.

Impressive bridge linking the Eiffel Tower to the Trocadéro
Aug 2019
We used the Pont d'Iéna (Jena Bridge) to cross the River Seine from the Eiffel Tower to the Trocadéro. The bridged to flanked by four fabulous statues on large pylons: a Gallic warrior and a Roman warrior on the Right Bank; and an Arab warrior and a Greek warrior on the Left Bank.

The bridge was opened in 1814 and built upon an order, in 1807, from Napoleon I - the bridge was named after Napoleon’s victory at the Battle of Jena in 1806.

The steps leading off the bridge were featured in a the Bond movie “A View to a Kill” where James Bond (played by Roger Moore) drove a hijacked Renault 11 taxi down the steps in pursuit of an assassin (May Day played by Grace Jones).

The Place is out of times and romantic.
You might go directly to one of the best areas in Paris, The Trocadero.
Go and go again.
ps/just avoid the numerous guy trying to sell something..

Views of the Tower
Sep 2018
This well-designed bridge is notable because you get a great view of the Eiffel Tower. Also very useful for getting to the Quai Branly Museum. Fancy restaurants around.
