I took my husband to Angelina's as he had never visited and I had always 'raved' about it, unfortunately it did not come up to my previous experiences. Unusually it was quiet so we got a table without a wait. We ordered coffee with hot milk and eggs Benedict. The coffee came promptly but we waited over 30 mins for... More

After our visit to Musee d'Orsay, we decided to have tea at Angelina. It's always a popular spot, and this time was no exception. The wait time went quickly and before long, we found ourselves contemplating what to order. Everything looked delicious! It was really hard to choose. So, we finally selected two Saint Honor'es with tea. Highly recommend a... More

We initially wanted to buy their world renowned hot chocolate, but the line was queued past the following few stores so we opted for their take away version - thick, creamy & heavenly!!! Angelina's opens at 7.30am for breakfast, and being winter when the sun doesn't rise till 8am, we thought we'd get in early to experience the food -... More

Visited Angelina's on New Years Day, queued for about 25 minutes which we were ok with. As went entered the restaurant it struck me that all the guests were sat still wearing coats and scarfs..... after 10 minutes of being in there I realised why..... it was sooooo COLD! We had to put our coats back on! Atmosphere is non... More

We had afternoon tea and lunch yesterday and everything was divine. We booked a few weeks ahead and that saved a long queue, I would highly recommend booking through the website. Service was exceptional and choice of menu was great as we had a vegetarian in our group.

It is overrated. Had much anticipation for this place and made a reservation for a table of 4. Positive: very nice interior decor Negatives: 1. the food were overpriced €30 for "Angelina Breakfast" (1 Angelina hot chocolate, half a cup of fruit juice, 1 mini croissant, 1 mini chocolate roll, 1 mini sultana, 1 hard roll, 1 omelette or scrambled... I love this place. I've been there few times and it's always great to go back. The pastries are the best I had in Paris but they're still very good my favorite is the caramel tart. The hot chocolate is good althought very sweet. If you're going for a tea, try the 226, not disappointed. Enjoy!
