We took the wine and country tour so we could experience some wine and some heritage in the beautiful French countryside. BJ is an amazing guide and taught us a lot about the wine making process. We visited a family winery Donaine de la Garenne in Sancerre and sampled some of the lovely wines! Mom even helped out with the... More

My wife, her brother and sister, and I took a day tour with JB in June 2016 and absolutely loved the experience. As most on here have said, JB is incredibly knowledgeable about the Loire Valley / Burgundy region and also hilarious as well. We enjoyed joking with him throughout the day and talking about his wife and kids. He... More

Everything about the day was extremely well planned out. We stopped at a goat cheese farm, two wineries, a lovely restaurant for lunch, and had time to walk around the town of Sancerre, France. Our host JB was polite, knowledgeable, and planned a perfect day for us. The wine makers were fabulous, fun and we were able to do tastings... More

Pros: - JB took us to small, family-owned vineyards where he knows the family. This made for intimate interaction and conversation with the owners. - JB is extremely knowledgeable and has a strong passion for traditional French wine, which is appealing and admirable. - JB speaks very good English and is a witty, humorous, and also professional guide. - the... We did the Wine Enthusiast Tour in May 2016, and it was a big highlight of our trip. JB was an extremely nice and helpful guide, and we loved the wineries and goat cheese farms we visited. JB had obviously created some close relationships with the proprietors of the businesses we visited, which made us feel like very welcome guests.... More

My boyfriend Doug and I booked the "Wine Enthusiast" day tour recently ... it was a very full day, from the time we met up with "J.B." just after 7 a.m. until we arrived back at the meeting point at 7 p.m. We greatly enjoyed it and learned a lot at the same time. We found J.B.'s welcoming and engaging... More

Seriously, this was the highlight of the two week trip to Paris my wife and I took. I learned a TON about French wine as well as their food and culture. The lunch was great, the wine was amazing, and the fact we didn't have to worry about taking pictures was a relief. I completely recommend this as a must... More

Wonderful tour of the Loire Valley wine country. Our guide, Jean-Bernard, was very informative and did a wonderful job of passionately educating us about the Loire Valley, the vines, and the way of life in this region. We especially enjoyed that fact that this was a small-group tour so we had ample opportunity to discuss any questions we had with... More

What a great way to get out of Paris and experience some of the delightful wine, food and sights of Burgundy and the Loire Valley under the expert guidance of JB. Being originally from this area, he shared his wealth of knowledge about the region’s wine (including the terroir and wine roots!) as well as the food and the many... More

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Paris who wants to explore wine country. JB does a great job making you feel welcome, explaining the rich and interesting history of the region, and giving his guests a real taste of the French countryside. The stops at the Cosne market, a winery, a village for lunch, a vineyard, Sancerre... More
