The river was amazing. We did a river dining experience and it was definitely worth it to travel down the river. Just walking along the river was amazing too!

Had a nice morning walk by the river that seperates paris into left and right bank. The lourve and musee d’orsay are on opposite banks for example

Second time doing this ride. May is the perfect time to do this as it is not very crowded. Love the views, yet sad to see the damage to Notre Dame. She will come back. We hope so too!!

The night river tour really showcases why Paris is the City of Lights. It really does shine in a different, manmade light after the sun sets, and it is gorgeous!

This answer is too late, but for another person to get to the bateau mouche from the Champs Elysees is at least a kilometer or more depending upon where one is leaving from on the Champs.
