Bateau mouche - No better way to experience the magnificence of Paris in an hour. €13.40 per adult. Sparkling day with magnificent views of all the magnificent buildings from the Louvre to Musee DOrsay to Invalides to Notre Dams. Worth every cent.

We took the cruise trip on Seine river and trip started somewhere close to Eiffel tower. Cruise passes through across all the major touristic attraction, bridges, etc. Some of the views from Cruise are excellent,. Happy Clicking.

It was a beautiful day and seeing all the people on the river was quite a blast. Watching the boats go by and just enjoying the view.

Being Australian, it is impressive to see various sectors of the Seine, in Paris, towards Giverny, or further afield. In Paris, it is wonderful just to wander along its banks and see the surrounding architecture and the locals heading off to work, jogging, and relaxing in the sunshine. And there is plenty of boating action on the river to keep... More

You can't do better then staying close to the Seine in Paris. Along its banks are many of the most popular attractions, lovely restaurants plus you never get lost.

there are few companies that do the mini river cruise. You can choose lunch, dinner or just the cruise. I went with an orange company (that i can´t remember the name). they are really great and friendy. there is a audio that explains everything while you are cruising.

What an amazing way to see many sites of the city! Notre Dame, Orsay museum, Louvre, Eiffel tower (especially at night around 11 with the light show ). Not to mention the great bridges and foot paths with their old character and new additions (locks etc). Leisurely sight seeing on a famous route that makes as much or more than... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
