Lovely waterway

Enjoyed a day utilizing the hop on hop off batboys from the Eiffel Tower to the Luxembourg Gardens. Enjoyed an evening dinner cruise on another vessel.

On April, it was really cold, especially in the morning. I like the view of the river, although on some places it smells bad. However the surrounding was always kept clean. Good photo spots can be taken on the bridges connecting the delta and the surrounding city center. And if you can stand the wind, a river cruise would be... More

If visiting Paris for the first time I highly recommend a cruise down the Seine River. Ours was a one hour guided cruise that took about one hour to complete. The cruise will take you past many points of interest and is a very enjoyable way to spend part of the day. Definitely something to plan into your travel schedule.

We crossed the Seine on our travels many times. Beautiful bridges where we got some of our best photos of the Eiffel Tower without the crowds!

We used the BatauBus boat instead of a fixed cruise and this was good value at 19 euros for two consecutive days of hop on/off at 9 piers.

I would recommend one hour boat ride with no stops during ride on a open upper boat platform especially at sunset. It can't hardly be more romantic.

Going up and down and across the Seine provides a different view that is just breath taking. You can walk for miles and be amazed by all the sights and sounds. It is the perfect thing to do on a good weather day.
